Speedy deletion nomination of D-Dojo[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on D-Dojo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. iBentalk/contribsIf you reply here, please place a talkback notification on my page. 18:51, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chris Kacher, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Portfolio management (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:57, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Internet Solutions[edit]

hello, I don't know if you can help me. I am trying to create a page for Ronnie Apteker, the man who founded Internet Solutions. The trouble is Wikipedia thinks there already is a Ronnie Apteker page, which is merely a redirect to Internet Solutions. So it won't let me create Ronnie Apteker. Would you know of a way around this, removing the redirect page or something. Thank you picknick99

Hi, it looks like it existed and was changed to simple redirect page by User:SwisterTwister on 1 Nov, see history. I also see it was already nominated for deletion, but the result was to keep, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ronnie Apteker. So SwisterTwister is probably not right when saying "Nothing to suggest independent notability or better improvement, was going to AfD but this seems obvious". I suggest you to talk to SwisterTwister explaining this and saying that you can further develop an article with properly sourced material. you can also prepare your developments, then revert his/her edit and quickly add your new Material, saying in the edit summary that the subject is notable enough.. with or without talking to SwisterTwister afterwards.. this is what I'd do in this situation.. Good luck! --Pozytyv (talk) 17:13, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
If he is solidly notable for an article, yes. To be honest, the AfD consensus was not entirely clear (and from 2010 for that matter) but rathering than making a new one, it simply seemed he was best known and connected to that company. SwisterTwister talk 18:09, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Nomination of James Meschino for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article James Meschino is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James Meschino until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Delta13C (talk) 02:18, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
