"The Hindureligion"[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that an admin has deleted the page The Hindureligion, which you had created. If you want a copy of the article for yourself, you can request it from then. The reason it was speedily deleted was because it duplicated the topic already covered at Hinduism. It also had copyright issues: it seemed to copy large parts of other online publications. Unless the source texts are available under a licence compatible with wikipedia's (and most aren't), you can't just copy them here. You have to summarise them in your own words. You might want to have a look at WP:Copyright and WP:Plagiarism for further information. Most of the sources you used also happened to be from websites and newspapers, and on a topic like this they won't generally have been considered as reliable. Editing on wikipedia can be tricky and it takes some effort at first, but I hope you decide to stay. Thanks! Uanfala (talk) 22:48, 23 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Running a class on Wikipedia[edit]

Hello. If you're an actual professor and your "Hindu FAQ" articles are some kind of student project, please read Wikipedia:School and university projects/Instructions for teachers and lecturers. --McGeddon (talk) 08:48, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
