How about discussing that sort of thing on the article's talk page first? --Mike Searson (talk) 04:19, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Guns N' Roses (A Musical band) worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 04:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2008[edit]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Guns and Roses (TV series). For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. faithless (speak) 10:48, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Tv9.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Tv9.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Copyright images[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Maatv.jpg article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page.

Please do not recreate the extensive lists (over 12000 bytes) of Babu's films and other credits under all his aliases.

They are far too long, cumbersome, unwieldy and make the article look like garbage. You are free to edit as you see fit on Indian Wikipedia as that is where Babu was known and, thus, where his credits will be best appreciated. You can/should also add the link to the IMDb. Yours, 216.194.3.149 (talk) 02:32, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats on improving Babu article. It looks good now!! 216.194.2.245 (talk) 12:42, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Pvsamrat! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 975 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Daggubati Venkateswara Rao - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Rajiv Kanakala - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
