Happy St. David's Day[edit]
The leek is one of the national emblems of Wales, worn along with the daffodil (in Welsh, the daffodil is known as "Peter's leek", Cenhinen Bedr) on St. David's Day. According to one legend, King Cadwaladr of Gwynedd ordered his soldiers to identify themselves by wearing the vegetable on their helmets in an ancient battle against the Saxons that took place in a leek field.[1]

Aaron Hunt[edit]
- kicker magazine should be good for appearances and goals for the top 4 leagues in Germany along with the German Cup, Champions League, Europa League, and the Relegation playoff. kicker is very reliable for German soccer information.
- If you want to add more prose to any section, then go ahead.
- Why not? It would be good to get the article closer to featured article status.
- That could be done. But I would use the league seasonal article specifically when referencing the league in that specific season. Kingjeff (talk) 22:32, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
Ismaily - reply[edit]
No, I don't believe those Ivinhema stats were correct. The ref #2 (which I remember that I've added in the article) says that he made his debut in 2007, when the club was playing in the second tier of the Campeonato Sul-Matogrossense. The club played ten matches during that tournament, plus 34 matches in the 2008 edition (now in the first tier). Totals reach 44 matches, which don't actually are quite correct to what has been added.
Ah, and about Galán: I do have the page in my Watchlist as well, but you seem to be quicker! Cheerio, MYS77 ✉ 02:56, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
- Replying here because I'm too lazy to create a new section... :) Added two refs to Diogo, both can't say how poor he was on the field, really. I don't actually recall him scoring a goal for Santos! The only thing I remember is that he had a never-ending back injury while he was on the team, but after looking out for some refs he was out for only for two months, so I didn't add it to the article. Displaying authors in citations[edit]
Hello, and thank you for improving Nacho Monreal by adding some missing authors to the citations. Where an article is consistent in its use of one style, as in this case Nacho Monreal was by using the "Surname, Forename" format for displaying authors in the reference list, please stick with that format, rather than adding new ones that display as "Forename Surname". See WP:CITEVAR. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:28, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

RE: Juan Ángel Albín[edit]
Hi there! Yes, I’m doing fine. Right now I’m on vacation out of country, but I’ll start university on 1 October.
Regarding Albín, the translation was almost entirely correct. I’ve only changed a few words and it should be ok now.
About the reference, I tried some Google searches and I couldn’t find anything relevant. It might be somewhere, but it is quite difficult to find since Petrolul was not so mediatized compared to Steaua/FCSB and some other teams... :(
Hope you are doing well too and I’m looking forward to hearing from you!8Dodo8 (talk · contribs) 23:32, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Saludos Mega60 (talk) 10:54, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Hey, yeah I realised it was pretty much nonsense but always best to give new users the benefit of the doubt in the hope of turning then into productive contributors. Cheers. Kosack (talk) 11:57, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
Accioly - reply[edit]
A justiça brasileira é incrivel demais. Abraços, bom final de semana. MYS77 ✉ 18:53, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
RE: Platini[edit]
Hello, my Portuguese wikifriend. :) Platini returned to the same Politehnica team. It was previously named CSM Politehnica Iasi but it acquired the brand of the old club which folded in 2010, and is now known as FC Politehnica Iasi.
Glad I could help, Tchau!8Dodo8 (talk · contribs) 21:15, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
Gualter Bilro[edit]
It appears this player has returned to Portugal, but ForaDeJogo and FootballDatabase.eu disagree as to whether he's gone to 11 Esperanças or Esperança de Lagos. Any ideas?
P.S. Hope you don't mind me fixing the headings. @Mega60: You should use section headings (==). Nzd (talk) 15:43, 20 September 2018 (UTC)

Hello, Quite A Character. I`m using alyga.lt offiacial site for statistics. alyga.lt 15+24 will be 39 matches, and two goals. What is your matematics? What sourses using? --Makenzis (talk) 12:55, 25 September 2018 (EEST)
- I looked everything for up to down, from down to top... Andre Almeida in lietuvosfutbolas.lt page 5, page 4, page 3, i was wrong... 24+24... In 2017 was 24 matches in A lyga, only two in Pirma lyga. In 2018 again 24 matches. alyga.lt with mistakes in this case. Thanks for understanding. Regards from LT_wiki. --Makenzis (talk) 15:00, 25 September 2018 (EEST)
Platini[edit]
Hello there, haven't heard from you in a long time. The PC Update removal was a typing error. For the spacing, can't I modify it as I like as long as it offers the same outcome? (I do it to have just one line for club, period and appearances) Katz191 (talk) 21:08, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
- A lot of what I do here is actually just updating appearances and goals and for a lot of pages related to romanian footballers I often have to correct the hole thing; this just makes it a lot faster. All the best.Katz191 (talk) 20:26, 14 October 2018 (UTC)

Puyol[edit]
On both issues. To constantly use a pronoun is improper English. He, his, he, his. A noun in between is the norm. Secondly, Puyol’s goal celebration has zero to do with the next sentence. It is it’s own separate sentence, it is not connected, so ";" is inappropriate. F8RIL (talk) 21:05, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
Miguel Ángel González Suárez[edit]

Rollback[edit]
...is a privilege, not a right. Please stop using it to undo edits which are not by any stretch of the imagination vandalism.
Thank you for listening. Struway2 (talk) 20:45, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- As you're perfectly well aware, the edits I reinstated were (1) correctly updated infobox stats and (2) the addition of sourced content. As you're also perfectly well aware, neither of those things is vandalism.
- You are responsible for your edits. Another editor's belief that the person who made those edits is, in general, a vandal doesn't in any way justify you misusing rollback to remove those correct edits. Struway2 (talk) 21:59, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- As a rule of thumb, ALWAYS provide an edit summary if you think not all editors can clearly see something is vandalism. Esp. in those updates and stuff, which is an ongoing nightmare for administrators, that's important, cause we can't tell the good from the bad, and that in turn also makes it harder for us to to block the bad. Take care, Drmies (talk) 22:02, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
Andrei Radu and Alexandru Cicaldau[edit]
Hello! Would you mind to check out these articles when you have time? Especially the first one. He had a great display at the under-21 national team and now is a starter for Genoa, however he conceded many goals today against Inter unfortunately...8Dodo8 (talk · contribs) 16:48, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply also. Everything is well, I'm just a little busy because of university. :) I don't think you should quit editing Romanian articles just because you had a "conflict" with some user. It's just the name of a team... But I totally respect whatever decision you take. Thanks for appreciating my work, but I'm always a little insecure about how the article looks like because I want it to be perfect. And in my opinion your grammar and the way you organize pages is perfect. :)
- Maybe at sometime you will change your mind and edit again on Romanian articles. Happy weekend and hope to hear from you soon! 8Dodo8 (talk · contribs) 17:40, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

Saludos Mega60 (talk) 09:23, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
Re: Thiago Mottta[edit]
Not sure what I did at the time (it was a while ago; obviously I posted the wrong url), but I can't seem to find a vivoazzurro article which mentions those things about him, so I did some research and found some other articles and added them instead! Feel free to clean anything up that might be out of place! Best regards, Messirulez (talk) 21:11, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

Hey, i just thought it looks odd saying he "is" a footballer and "is" a manager. Kante4 (talk) 18:51, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
- All good, it's a small thing. ;) Kante4 (talk) 18:57, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
- BTW, i am surprised there is no article about Javi Sánchez, who made for Real his La Liga and UCL debut last week. You and MYS77 (talk · contribs) are pretty quick when it comes to spanish ones. Kante4 (talk) 18:59, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
