Welcome and introduction[edit]

Hi, Radova. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  05:37, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

The article Paul LaViolette has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Paul LaViolette has previously personally asked to have his biographical article removed from Wikipedia. There has been two AfDs on this and LaViolette's wish was given considerable weight in the most recent discussion.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. meco (talk) 09:37, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the above proposed deletion; see User talk:Chzz#Paul Laviolette Chzz  ►  15:48, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Above struck, because it is now archived; but all I'd said was;
Previous deletion discussion is in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul LaViolette (2nd nomination).
Note, the new article was proposed for deletion [1] but I removed the proposal [2] because I think that a discussion is warranted. Best,  Chzz  ►  15:31, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Paul LaViolette, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul LaViolette (3rd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Dougweller (talk) 13:51, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Previous account(s)[edit]

Hi.

I just wondered, because you wrote on the discussion that my account is not one time; I’ve been member for years - can you support that statement, by letting us know your previous account(s)?

You don't have to, of course, and I'm not saying that there are any problems - I just thought I'd ask.

Cheers,  Chzz  ►  00:22, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is my one and only account. I simply did not have anything to say all this years :-) Radova (talk) 17:57, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks for clarifying that.  Chzz  ►  08:29, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there is more work for you! A new Paul_A._LaViolette page has appeared. Let's eradicate this apostasy before new ideas in science are rooted :-) Radova (talk) 06:06, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
