Denis Werner

[edit]

You have inserted this person's name into a number of articles about nightclubs, but I can find no evidence that this person exists, so I have removed it from those articles. Please do not restore it unless you have a citation from a reliable source which shows that this person exists, and is co-owner or -operator of these clubs. If you continue to insert the name without evidence, you will potentially be subject to being blocked from editing. Beyond My Ken (talk) 19:33, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have indeed added his name & Berkmann's and Humphreys as they have been systematically removed months ago..... are you the person who has been removing it? I am Denis Werner's personal assistant and have worked for him for that last 12 years. I can assure you he exists. Now I will kindly ask you to allow me to place honest and truthful information and set certain records straight. Richard G.
Richard: No, I didn't remove them months ago, but I did remove "Denis Werner" recently; I'll tell you why:

Because Wikipedia is put together not by experts in their fields but by everyday people, we require that all facts be supported by a citation from a reliable source, and I was not able to find one that even confirmed the existence of Mr. Werner. You need to read the information at the link I just gave you, find a reliable source (newspapers, published book, etc.) that has the information you want, and include that information with Mr. Werner's name when you add it. (If you need assistance once you have a source, I'll be glad to help.)

You should also read the section on editing with a conflict of interest, which would apply to a person such as yourself. Please feel free to contact me if you need more help. Best, Beyond My Ken (talk) 17:20, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, also, the correct place to leave me a message is at User talk:Beyond My Ken. Thanks, Beyond My Ken (talk) 18:04, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've responded to your most recent message to me on my talk page. Beyond My Ken (talk) 16:24, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I've asked adminstrators to chime in if anything I've told you is wrong, or if there's anything else you can do that I've not thought of. You can see my request for assistance here; feel free to add to that discussion if you'd like to. Beyond My Ken (talk) 16:33, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
