September 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Loriendrew. An edit that you recently made to Northern Essex Community College seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! ☾Loriendrew☽ (talk) 21:02, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You added "*Donald "RF tank" Bradford, ’13-, Producer, Feature film Actor" to the alumni page. For starters there is no such article (called a redlink.) Second there is no such person found at imdb, which indicates he is either non-existent, or is not considered notable. As such I removed your edit. Adding a false/fake person to a notable alumni section can usually be considered vandalism or adding deliberate factual errors. A test-edit warning is hoping you made a good-faith edit rather than a malicious one. Additionally, when using someone else's talk page, create a new section and make your entry there, not at the top of the page.--☾Loriendrew☽ (talk) 03:46, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK so since you looked on a web site and didn't find a name it must be true. Said person is currently attending the school. Also said person is not on imdb and doesn't currently want it to be know other then his stage name. Where you are going by believing what you want from what you read from a site and not knowing all the facts are two different things. I know for a fact that this person is going there is an actor and producer. I can even get proof of such. Don't threaten me by telling me I'm being malicious to the site when you have no clue and i have facts. If I did something wrong with how I listed it that is one thing but the information listed is 100% true.

1) From Wikipedia:Verifiability: In Wikipedia, verifiability means that people reading and editing the encyclopedia can check that the information comes from a reliable source. Wikipedia does not publish original research. Its content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of its editors. Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it.
2) From Wikipedia:Your alma mater is not your ticket to Wikipedia: Wikipedia has strict policies about the notability of people, and the creation of a new article about a non-notable individual frequently results in the speedy deletion of the page. However, it is common for people to go their alma mater's Wikipedia page, and add their name or a friend's name to the list of "notable alumni." Here is some advice: don't do it!
1+2= You non-notable unverifiable friend needs to wait to become notable and verifiable before adding him to a Notable Alumni section.--☾Loriendrew☽ (talk) 03:36, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
