American Podcast
REEL Film Reviewed is a podcast based in the United States hosted by Kris Chaney. REEL Film Reviewed combines short, spoiler free Film and TV reviews with a post review discussion. REEL Film Reviewed has been featured and is listed on Goodpods Top 100 Shows lists, available on all platforms, and has a worldwide audience. REEL Film Reviewed also produces segments in which Chaney reads from original screenplays, recasts popular films and shows, and provides alternate endings or changes to popular films and shows.
Early Life[edit]
Kris Chaney was born in Marin County, CA to Kevin and Deborah Chaney and raised in Vallejo, CA. Chaney enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2006 immediately after graduating from high school in Reno, Nevada. After an honorable discharge, Chaney graduated from Kaplan University with a BS in Biomedical Sciences and Radiology in 2012. Chaney attended the Scottsdale Community College Film School and Grand Canyon University to pursue a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Digital Film Making and Video Production and Applied Entrepreneurship. Chaney owns and operates, REEL ProduCtions LLC, a production company based in Tempe, Arizona. The capital “C” being a tribute to last name Chaney. Chaney is also an independent filmmaker, taking on the roles of producer, director, editor, and screenwriter. Chaney also runs the online podcast merchandise store, REEL Merch. Chaney has been published in multiple poetry books for original poems and sonnets. Chaney wrote all of the scripts read in the REEL Film Reviewed podcast segment, "Script Reads."
Career[edit]
After deciding to pursue a life long passion to produce and direct films, Chaney started REEL Film ProduCtions, LLC now, REEL ProduCtions, LLC. REEL ProduCtions LLC produces film and TV projects in addition to the REEL Film Reviewed podcast and Kris of All Trades podcast, with Chaney at the helm as producer, director, editor, and writer of many of the projects.
Personal Life[edit]
