January 2013[edit]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Alicia Silverstone. Thank you. [1] [2] (Other problematic edits, though not BLP problems: [3] [4] [5]) --Ronz (talk) 02:53, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

It's neither of those things. I'm using a more accurate term than "kiss-feeding". What she did was to spit chewed-up food into her son's mouth. It says so in the reference. Arguing over it is like arguing that all references to sexual intercourse on Wikipedia should read "making whoopee". ẈỄ'ḸḼ ṪḜḀṘ ỶƠṴṜ ṠǾṸḶ ḀṖẤṘṮ... Let's start by noting that you're not defending your first attempt. I think you should quit there and move on to another article.
So your second attempt might be seen as a good faith attempt to be more descriptive, but it's an incorrect description and is your own, personal viewpoint. --Ronz (talk) 03:02, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not defending my first attempt because I think it was too rough - my contempt for her behaviour outweighed my desire for accuracy. Nonetheless, I still maintain that the practice of spitting food into the mouths of one's offspring is a practice which has existed for thousands of years only amongst animals such as birds, and that it is cruel to give one's child a ridiculously stupid name like "Bear Blu". Jamie Oliver is guilty of a very similar cruel act against his infant son. The second attempt is entirely accurate. Check the Daily Mail reference. The article in fact goes further than either of the changes I made in criticising the practice of spitting food into a child's mouth. ẈỄ'ḸḼ ṪḜḀṘ ỶƠṴṜ ṠǾṸḶ ḀṖẤṘṮ... I've modified the disputed content to actually better follow a better source, eliminating any need to rely upon anyone's personal opinions on the matter. Do we need any further changes? --Ronz (talk) 03:22, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Padded cell. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. 75.66.245.189 (talk) 06:42, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stub tags[edit]

Please don't add {{stub}} to an article which already has a specific stub tag, as you did, twice, to Sieroszewice: it's just a waste of other editors' time as well as your own. And please remember that stub tags go at the end of the article, not the top or the middle (per WP:ORDER). If you want to suggest that a particular section needs to be expanded, use {{expand section}}, not {{stub}}. Thanks. PamD 21:31, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism, as you did to Padded cell, will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia without further notice. I also restored the warning the IP editor gave to you. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
