many external links to topwalks

Uh, have you read WP:EXT? I probably should have said something before now, but linking to topwalks.net from dozens of plant articles doesn't really seem to fit wikipedia policies such as WP:NOT#DIRECTORY and WP:SPAM. You can respond by editing this talk page (I'll watch it for a few days at least). I also don't know how much you know about wikipedia, but there's lots of helpful material at WP:WELCOME. I certainly wasn't trying to tell you never to add anything to wikipedia, and I doubt Lavateraguy was either (sorry we ganged up on you - it was a coincidence that we both left a note at the same time). The topwalks site looks like an interesting and informative one (which is partly why I didn't say anything about the links at first). The root page for the topwalks plant gallery would be a sensible external link for a Flora of Spain or Flora of Iberia page if there was such a thing. What about Category:Flora of Spain, or is external links on a category page a no-no? Lavateraguy (talk) 20:45, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
