Earl Eby

[edit]

Just curious, do you have a source that says he went to Loyola Academy? UPenn's profile says he graduated from Calumet [1], and he's not a member of Loyola's Athletic Hall of Fame. (I'm just wondering, because I went to Loyola Academy myself, and would be interested to learn about an Olympian alum.) Zagalejo^^^ 04:37, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for Olympic swimmers

[edit]

Hey, Robert. I saw that you have been adding high school information for several Olympic swimmers from the Chicago area. What are you using for a source? That information really should be cited to a reliable source footnote per WP:V and WP:RS. Let me know if you need some help with footnotes, etc. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 04:55, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you haven't read them already, you might like to be aware of the guidance at WP:AUTOBIO and WP:COI. Regards, Ghmyrtle (talk) 15:17, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:25, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
