Star Trek Into the Darkness[edit]

I should have mentioned in the review that there are a few maintenance tags also, I counted three, and one was added very recently that a definition is needed for jumpship. I'm not sure if three maintenance tags is enough for a quick fail, it seemed borderline to me, but I should have noted it as something that should be resolved before a re-nomination. Good luck. Seraphim System (talk) 14:54, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

Also, one of the reasons I failed it was because I think it requires significant copy-editing, in fact, given the basic problems with things like sentence fragments and commas and subordinate clauses, I would recommend submitting it to the GOCE before renomination, but the wait time there can be upwards of a month. If it is submitted to GOCE I would be willing to go over it, but then someone else would have to do the GA review. Of course, if you prefer, you can also wait for another copy editor, or tackle it yourself. Seraphim System (talk) 11:28, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

Free Agent Frenzy[edit]

First and foremost, thank you for your help! You're right on top of all of these signings! Secondly, would you please try to keep the formatting as you edit, (ie. alternating background colours in the table), as well as in the edit summary, just list the signing you are adding, (ie. DAL signs Radulov). Those will both make the inevitable cleanup that comes after the frenzy much, much easier! Cheers, keep it up! –uncleben85 (talk) 16:52, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

Icelandic names[edit]

Why did you do this? With no reason given, and contrary to my previous edit, which referred to the fact that Icelandic names are sorted by given name, as there is NO SURNAME to sort on, and the patronymic is not an appropriate sorting key. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 01:04, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

Removal of daotd[edit]

Hi. Most of the time you are doing a swell job finding the real date of death for the Deaths in 20** entrances, but every once in a while, and to be honest a little too often, you just remove the daotd-tag without any explanation. With that history, I'd recommend you add your source every time you do it, to spare both yourself and other users the irritation such as just happened. Yeah, I could check for myself, but you could also do the whole work yourself. Nukualofa (talk) 19:45, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, I know I should have checked, I was just a little too eager. I'll try to do better. As a general rule, the DoD in the article isn't very reliable, until properly sourced. It is all too often wrong, and added by random casual editors. There are no guard dogs watching each article the way we watch Deaths in 20xx. Nukualofa (talk) 19:58, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

Blogs as sources[edit]

I know you are well aware of the reliable sourcing criteria for BLPs, so I'm not sure why you used a blog post to add a death date to Steve Sandor. Please don't add such information without very reliable sources.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:27, 31 July 2017 (UTC)

Patrick Thomas's death date[edit]

Hi. Wondering where you got the specific date 1 August from. I've looked around online and can only find sources that say he died in August, without specifying the date. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 22:33, 7 August 2017 (UTC)

How many times?[edit]

You are on a 1RR edit restriction yet you repeatedly violate it. So please undo your second revert here and let the discussion continue on the talk page. Contributing factors[edit]

On a death certificate, these go in the field under the immediate and proximate causes, which are all a single chain. On Hefner's, it's blank. So aside from the septicemia which directly led to his lungs and heart stopping, he was fine. InedibleHulk (talk) 22:50, October 3, 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Spielberg (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Marshall (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
