Image:2006 Ford Crown Victoria.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2006 Ford Crown Victoria.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 22:25, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:2006 Ford E-150 Passenger Van.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2006 Ford E-150 Passenger Van.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image:Molly Price (as Faith Yokas on Third Watch).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Molly Price (as Faith Yokas on Third Watch).jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. Fair use rationale for Image:VIP (TV logo).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:VIP (TV logo).jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 20:42, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

My only source is that I heard the remix on the radio and upon researching I found the remix on YouTube (here). Does this count? ... I was unable to locate any official source describing the remix or its release. —S3BST3R (talk) 04:36, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Sorry no it doesnt, youtube is not reliable. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 04:57, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
...I'm confused. The brief paragraph I wrote depicted the James Rendon remix, and that it uses a faster pace and stronger bass beats. From listening to the song on YouTube, one can tell this is true. How is this not "reliable"? If it looks and quacks like a duck, it's not a moose. Am I missing something here...? —S3BST3R (talk) 05:00, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Even if you can see the information, it doesnt make it reliable. Please read WP:V and WP:RS. Throughout wikipeidia it has been determined that Youtube is not allowed as a source. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 05:06, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
