Information icon Hello, I'm McGeddon. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ellen Ripley, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for July 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Good breeding. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Template headings[edit]

I've reverted your edits to Template:Episode VI and Template:Episode VII, as we use the original release titles for the Star Wars film templates. This has been discussed in great detail prior, but if you want to see it changed, I'd suggest you take it up with WikiProject Star Wars and/or WikiProject Film. September 2017[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Continent, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 07:11, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

October 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to High School DxD. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 17:56, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited S.W.A.T. (2017 TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Action (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Addition into Forms of Government for Raven and French's bases of power?[edit]

Hi Samantha, I'm curious why you added this article to the forms of government article series. It seems to have little to do with that section and is rather a discussion of psychology. Perhaps I'm missing something. Squatch347 (talk) 13:22, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Frigate, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Gamergate controversy discretionary sanctions alert[edit]

Commons-emblem-notice.svgThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Chocolate, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. For content addressing human health -- such as the brain mechanisms of aphrodisiacs -- you need strong reviews described in WP:MEDRS. Thank you. Zefr (talk) 23:01, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

Unsourced genres[edit]

Hi, you may have noticed that I and several other editors reverted your addition of the isekai genre to the infoboxes of several articles. Like most things on Wikipedia, genres require sources, and while most of these articles probably are classified as isekai, you can't just add the genre without a source. If you can find and cite a reliable source that refers to the works as said genre, then feel free to restore your edits. G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 22:37, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Fictional eSports players[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Category:Fictional eSports players, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
