This is an invitation to check out a new project: Wikipedia:Wikiproject LGBT studies. The initial goal is to create an within Wikipedia a unicversity-level academic-quality reference encyclopedia for LGBT and Queer Studies-related topics. Hardial Bains academic record

I am too closely related to Hardial Bains for it to be appropriate for me to edit his page (or so I'm told by those who know). However, it is a source of surprise to me that his time in academia is in no way recorded on Wikipedia.

You can now find PLENTIFUL proof that he was a PhD student at UBC (and that he got his MSc there) by looking up:

on Google. The Ubyssey (student newspaper) hugely documents his student activism there but also mentions many times that he got his MSc in 64 and that he was studying for his PhD after that.
