[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Smiley Quick, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. L Kensington (talk • contribs) 01:24, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
Minor edits
[edit]Your recent edit [1] was marked as a minor edit, even though it clearly was not a minor edit. You might wish to read WP:MINOR to remind yourself of the guidelines on this topic. If in doubt it is best not to mark any edits as minor. Regards. Jonathan A Jones (talk) 15:11, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
I've reverted your recent addition to the above subject because the theory you proposed was not to be found in the source you provided. I can understand your desire to "set the record straight," but Wikipedia is not the place to do that unless some WP:Reliable source has done it first. This encyclopedia does not publish WP:Original research. Personally, I welcome additions and corrections to articles about Los Angeles, California, neighborhoods, but we have got to have everything backed up with good sources. I hope you understand.
