The list of languages on your user profile is impressive, and put mine to shame. English is my first language, followed by a bit a German, quite a bit of Spanish, and some American sign language. I'm not fully fluent in German or sign language, and I occasionally have some trouble with my Spanish, plus those are languages that a lot of people know, you've got some really neat ones on your list! I also think being able to speak an un-written language is beyond awesome. On a different topic (this may be weird, because it's probably a total coincidence) my friend Kindell (her nickname's Kin) goes by Drawing ink because it is an anagram for her name, and she loves art, is your username an anagram? Sorry, they just reminded me of each other, that was probably stupid.(BluJay (talk) 02:24, 19 March 2015 (UTC))

@BluJay: Thanks. Languages are fun. It is also a mixed blessing for editors, in the sense that you if know know many of them, you likely don't know each equally well. You're right on. Mine's an anagram too, and yes I do love the fine arts. Small world, eh? scribble · ink chat\contrib 02:49, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
Scribbleink yeah, languages can be fun, and helpful, I plan to use my Spanish skills to teach English in Spain someday! It's really neat that your name is an anagram, I was worried it wouldn't be and that last coupled of sentences would make no sense. My name's not an anagram Jay is just my middle name, so I often pair it with things for usernames and the like.(BluJay (talk) 12:37, 20 March 2015 (UTC))
@BluJay: Great. Welcome to Wikipedia! Enjoy your stay. I'm still in the adoption process for being a fully fledged editor, but feel free to ask me any questions or help if you need, and I'll try to do the best I can. ~ scribble · ink chat\contrib 16:39, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
Thanks Scribbleink! I'm sorry for all the typos, my kindle tends to change words after I type them, and sometimes I don't notice it. I need to learn how to turn off the autocorrect program. Happy editing!(BluJay (talk) 00:58, 21 March 2015 (UTC))

Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello, Scribbleink. Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. My name is Howicus, and I've been an editor here for some time. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

If you're working on creating a new article, you should take a look at this page on your first article. Also, this page has instructions on how to cite sources, complete with videos.

If all this Wikicode is a little overwhelming, WP:Cheatsheet may help untangle it.

If you're looking for a tutorial of sorts, The Wikipedia Adventure is a good option.

And if you need more help, I'd recommend getting live help at the Wikipedia help chat channel (click "connect" to join): #wikipedia-en-help connect. Additionally, you could ask me on my talk page, try the Teahouse (a help page for new users) or click here to ask for help here on your talk page and a volunteer will visit you here shortly

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Again, welcome, and have fun editing! Howicus (Did I mess up?) 01:16, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

@Howicus: Thank you. I will need all the help I can get. Not to worry, though. I also have a mentor. scribble · ink chat\contrib 01:19, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Calibration, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Loading. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Stasia, don't worry about it. I've had a busy couple of weeks as well. Thanks, so much, for the heads up! scribble · ink chat\contrib 04:02, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Question for Administrator (17 April 2015)[edit]

What is the difference between the "undo" link on the "View history" tab of an article, and the "rollback" link of Twinkle?

Rationale – I asked an experienced editor (my adopter) this, and she suggested I ask an admin so we both understand it well. Using the template above in accordance with the "seek advice" part of WP:RAA. Thanks, in advance, for your precious time. ← scribbleink talk 05:43, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Undo will undo the editors last edit on a page. Rollback will undo all of the edits made by that editor to the last version by someone who isnt that editor. Amortias (T)(C) 09:42, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Anushka Sharma[edit]

Hi, can you please expand this article? Because I want to take it to GA status. --Yashthepunisher (talk) 14:10, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

@Yashthepunisher: Sure, I can take a look. My approach to an expansion is to gather as many references as possible initially. Is there any information that isn't in the article that you believe should be included? ← scribbleink ᗧHᗣT 19:44, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
I have added as much information as I can, but an experienced editor suggested me that the lead is short and it requires a little bit of copy editing. I don't think there is any info missing that should be included, but I request you to please help in expanding the lead, her early life and "In the media" section as much its possible for you. Cheers! --Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:44, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
@Yashthepunisher: I'm done with my once-over copyedit for mainly those sections. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. ← scribbleink ᗧHᗣT 08:11, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your help, really appreciate it. Currently there is nothing, but I will let you know. --Yashthepunisher (talk) 14:26, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

Liquid fly-back booster[edit]

Liquid fly-back booster has been nominated for Did You Know[edit]

Well, Hi! I hope you are doing great. Pavan told me to ask you to give a copy-edit to Mary Kom (film). I want it on the main page on 5 September 2015 and that is only possible, if the prose quality improves. It would be very nice, if you could ce it. I shall be grateful for this. I have given so many days to the article and if won't appear on the main page on its fisrt anniversery, then everything will go in vain (my work; since i worked for that purpose). Please.—Prashant 16:14, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

@Prashant!: Hi Prashant, I'm doing well, thanks. Hope you are, too :) Thanks for the hard work you have put in. It is a long article, currently tagged Start-class. Copyediting by a single person (e.g., just me) will take some time. It helps to know what your expectations are. So what is it, exactly, that you are aiming for? GA-class? Or, perhaps "On this day"? From what I gather, the latter does not have as high a bar as the former. ← scribbleink ᗧHᗣT 05:34, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm aiming for GA and subsequently FA. I hope you can do this. It should be a worthy-fa candidate. Some copy edit can improve it to that level, I guess.—Prashant 05:42, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
It is doable. I'm in the middle of another copyedit right now, but I will get to your request soon after. ← scribbleink ᗧHᗣT 05:45, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Okay no worries, maybe after it passes GA. I will notify you. Thanks!—Prashant 05:47, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

Lesson reminder :)[edit]

I've got the advanced templates lesson waiting for you to read at your adoption classroom. It's really extremely very long, so it might take you a while to get through it ;) ~ Anastasia [Missionedit] (talk) 16:33, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi Scribbleink! i am trying to bring Mayabazar to FA-Status. Although it was copy-edited by Miniapolis recently, Dr. Blofeld has suggested at the peer review to get the article copy-edited again. Can you copy-edit the article once? Here is the Peer Review page. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:21, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
