Welcome! (We can't say that loudly enough!)

Hello, Seanahdi, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might find helpful:

Or, please come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}} on your user talk page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Your customizable Wikipedia navigation hub

With its own link at the top of every page, your user page is as accessible as Wikipedia's Main Page. Because of this, it is your very own Wikipedia bookmark page: just place your favorite Wikipedia and external reference links on your user page, and you can access them from anywhere on Wikipedia.

In Firefox, you can also get there instantly by typing Alt+⇧ Shift+. (Other browser's access keys for your user page are covered in Wikipedia:Keyboard shortcuts, but they all include a period).

To add this auto-updating template to your user page, use {{totd}}

English varieties and other things

[edit]

Hello, thanks for your copyedits at French Polynesia. However, please don't change English varieties per the relevant guidelines. Graham87 04:59, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, don't put hatnotes on already-disambiguated pages, as you did at Rachel Nichols (actress) and Rachel Nichols (journalist), or link to anchors, as you did at Teak, unless absolutely necessary. Graham87 09:31, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
