Linkin Park's world tours

PLEASE READ THIS!!!! THE WHOLE ENTIRE THING

Could you made some changes to some of Linkin Park's World Tours, I'm a hard-core dedicated Linkin Park Street Soldier (fan), I notice some mistakes on their world tours and regular tours.

You guys made some mistakes on Linkin Park's world tours like the...

METEORA WORLD TOUR (2004)

...the tour actually didn't start until January 16th, 2004 (Fairfax, Virginia) not August 2003. The tour was thought to end on March 15th (Inglewood, California) but it didn't, on a LPTV episode, Linkin Park's drummer Rob Bourdon mentioned after the Projekt Revolution 2004 run, they'll be heading to Sao Paulo to end the world tour for Meteora (Meteora World Tour). Everything from February 2003 to December 2003 was just the Meteora Tour (like a Promo Tour). Forgot to mention this but on the proshot of the performance of KROQ AAC 2003 (which aired December 2003), Mike Shinoda mentioned something like "...before we come back in January for our Meteora World Tour, we...", so they didn't start the tour till January 2004. I've changed alittle of it though, I'm just correcting it, not doing any vandalism to the site, could you continue the tour dates for the tour.

Meteora World Tour (January 16th, 2004 to September 11th, 2004) Meteora Tour (February 23rd, 2003 to December 13th, 2003)

Tours associated with the MWT 2004: North American Tour (January to March) Eurasian Tour [later changed to "Europe And Asia Tour"] (June) Projekt Revolution Tour (July to September)

MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT WORLD TOUR (2008)

...the tour didn't start until January 16th, 2008, you guys were right on the day it ended (July 28th, 2008). I don't know why the band didn't do the "Music For Belief Asian Benefit Tour" in October 2008, but I'll look around, I know the shows were cancelled, it rare that Linkin Park would do something like that ---(the North American Tour of The Hunting Part World Tour 2015 was cancelled due to Chester Bennington breaking his ankle [while attempting to do a lay-up then landing/slipping on a water bottle] while playing basketball backstage, he didn't break his ankle while performing, if he did, he wouldn't had showed up with a scooter at the Meet & Greet Session but he did, I was there at the Indianapolis show)--- Everything from April 28th, 2007 to July 7th, 2007 was just the Minutes To Midnight Promo Tour). Then July 25th, 2007 to December 8th, 2007 was the Minutes To Midnight Tour.

Minutes To Midnight World Tour (Jan. 16, 2008 to July 28, 2008) Minutes To Midnight Tour (July 25, 2007 to December 8, 2008) Minutes To Midnight Promo Tour (April 28, 2007 - July 7, 2007)

Tours associated with MTMWT 2008: Winter European Tour (January) North American Arena Tour (February to March) European Tour (June) Projekt Revolution Tour: Europe (June) Projekt Revolution Tour (July to August)

A THOUSAND SUNS WORLD TOUR (2011)

I'm not sure about the world tour for their 4th album "A Thousand Suns" in 2010-2012, I've stop paying attention to the new music direction, not being a satisfied Linkin Park fan.

LIVING THINGS WORLD TOUR (2012 - 2013)

Living Things didn't really have a world tour that much since the shows laminated passes just said "LIVING THINGS TOUR", nothing about a world tour.

THE HUNTING PARTY WORLD TOUR (2015 - Present)

The tour begun this year on January 15th. In 2014, it was just a Promo Tour (May to June) and The Hunting Party Tour (August to December) thats all, this year it is a world tour, the band was on the North American Tour. The next show isn't until May 9th in Las Vegas at the Rock In Rio USA Festival.

HYBRID THEORY WORLD TOUR (2001 - 2002)

I don't about the Hybrid Theory World Tour that much but I assume that it started on the Ozzfest Tour on June 8th, 2001 and ended after the 1st annual Projekt Revolution Tour 2002), Bennington mention something on the "MTV's The Ride: Linkin Park" that they ended the world tour for Hybrid Theory with sold-out arena(s), it shows that they did do a world tour for their debut album.

HIATUS STATUS (2004-2006: Touring Hiatus)

In 2004, after the Projekt Revolution Tour, the band headed back home to Los Angeles, CA, to start production on their "Minutes To Midnight" album but was delayed due to Shinoda's interest in his Hip-Hop side, he waited for somebody to make the music he wanted to hear (it never happened) so he took it upon himself to make that kind of music, so he spend most of his time making his solo-album...which Jay-Z described the music "...underground hip-hop...". In the beginning of 2004, Shinoda actually started making hip-hop music/beats which turned into the Fort Minor "The Rising Tied" album. By 2005, Shinoda went on a promo tour and a short world tour for his "The Rising Tied" album with his friends (including Styles Of Beyond's Tak and Ryu). After finishing up the music, he and Linkin Park reunited in December 2005 then headed into the studio (NRG Studio) in January 2006. Shinoda began another tour with Fort Minor in beginning-middle of 2006 then gave his full attention to Linkin Park afterward. In August 2006, they met up with Rick Rubin who've later on sugguested that they used the Laurel Studios to record their new album, most of them felt uncomfortable about the choice.

Basically...Linkin Park went on a hiatus session between November 2004 to December 2005 and touring hiatus from Setpember 12th, 2004 to August 9th, 2006,... during that time, the guys in the band made up some of songs (demos)

...please put this on the Minutes To Midnight page...that the album took nearly 14 to 15 months to complete because one of the member suggested that each of them make up their own music and present them to each of the other guys in the band where they made over 100 songs, also changing the music sound and direction. And one things an non-Linkin Park fan don't know is that, Rick Rubin told the band that they should make the music they want "...I want you guys to forget about what the Linkin Park sound sounds like and make the music you want...", not to make music on what their fans expect them to make...so that what they did, they made the music they wanted and to show that its still Linkin Park. They've losted some fans cause of this, then double that with 'A Thousand Suns" [2010].

Now in 2015, Shinoda's Fort Minor project is being rebooted in the same reason Linkin Park's come back session was, Shinoda is not satisfied with the way hip-hop music is these days, its dead, hip-hip went to either pop or R&B, rappers these days don't rap as fast as rappers did back in the day they rap slow and they don't rap with attitude anymore and no deep voice, beats back then wasn't really that good, now-a-days, its good, in a way they switched/flipped. ...Even Rakim told Shinoda (during the recording process of LP's album, The Hunting Party) that he got mad that hip-hop went into other direction and Shinoda compare that to rock music, both changed in last decade. So Shinoda took upon himself to reboot Rock Music and Hip-Hop Music...and I even notice that music these days aren't are good as others were back in the day, after 2007, music started to suck.

...If you don't believe me then listen to music made before 2007 and listen to music made today, you're notice the differences...

Now, I understand where Linkin Park is coming at. Linkin Park is a band that actually stands out, to prove to the world that they're not just one thing but many, like Chester Bennington said one time "...we can played with Metallica one day, then Jay-Z the next day...and with Rihanna the day after...we wanted to show the world that we're not just one thing, we can do all these other things..."

2.1 Jibbz (talk) 18:18, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

I really haven't been much of a Linkin Park fan since I've joined Wikipedia in 2008, so I haven't really written hardly any of the material about them on the website. I temporarily watched over The Hunting Party because they said they were inspired by their early albums and 90's rock, but once that released and I hated it, I've pretty much backed away from everything Linkin Park. I'm not much of a concert-goer either, so I really wouldn't know much about their tours. You're free to fix these things yourself, just be sure to make your edits according to what third party sources say - Do not remove sourced information without explanation and/or a different source, and do not add information without sources. I stress that since that is what has gotten you your last few blocks. Sergecross73 msg me 13:41, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Open world edit warring

Hi Sergecross73,

I'm not sure if pinging worked through Tingle, but I've reported ECW28, the open world guy, for edit warring. Today he went back to adding the open world category on Destiny. He told me to shut the hell up, so I don't think this is working out. See here. Thanks. --Soetermans. T / C 22:43, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

I agree, I was losing my patience with him even last weekend for this stuff. I blocked him for a week. Sergecross73 msg me 01:28, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Official Album Streaming Chart

I don't understand your reasoning for speedily deleting (twice). Two people had opposed this within 5 minutes of each other. Why is this page any less notable than any other official music chart?Btljs (talk) 18:09, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Regarding the Official Album Streaming Chart article, tt's been speedy deleted because of being recreated in the same fashion it was when there was consensus to delete at WP:AFD. How do we determine that this chart is less notable? Well, as with any article subject, we determine notability by providing many (4-5 minimum usually) reliable third party sources that discuss the subject in significant detail. This has not been present in any version of the article. Try creating something more like that at WP:AFC. Every version of the article had the same problem - minimal content, minimal sources, (and almost entirely first party), and a random pic of Ed Sheeran. That's not enough to prove notability.
As I said, if you feel that strongly on it, you can create a rough draft at WP:AFC and try to get approval through there. Sergecross73 msg me 18:05, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Unprotecting Pokemon Sage Article

As should be apparent to you, the article you helped curate and protect has a slew of issues. Stopping people from making unsubstantiated edits to unsubstantiated edits on the page itself by stopping all edits entirely is completely counter to the pursuit of making correct and informative articles on fringe topics itself. A pursuit the creator and primary editor of the article espouses and you seem to want to protect. The issue here is the article's quality and correctness, as well as a clash of philosophy between the people with interest in the page and those who fervently want to have sole editing ability on it. In my opinion locking this page is in bad faith more than ignorant edits to it are. There is a range of new sources as well as a range of ways the page can be improved, including actually reading the sources it already uses. If you want specific content on the page that has issues I outlined that here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Pok%C3%A9mon_Sage#Just_Completely_Wrong — Preceding unsigned comment added by Piingonly (talkcontribs) 17:12, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

I've already responded to that conversation. I assume you just haven't read it yet? I don't know why else you'd be continuing with these bad faith accusations after I already requested you stop with them. Sergecross73 msg me 17:28, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
Any supposed accusations of bad faith are not primarily directed at you and are done as conclusions made from the quality of past and present conduct of these individuals (including ignoring the issue at hand because somebody didn't say something nicely to them). You can remain feeling insulted and the article can remain with original research, source contradiction, poor overall quality and easily proven falsities. It's all one you now, since you wanted to take the matter into your own hands and prevent others from fixing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2620:101:F000:2803:E570:7130:B386:6EFB (talk) 19:04, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
The article was not blocked to "prevent others from fixing it", it was to "prevent others from making edits that didn't align with policy". Nobody has proposed any policy-based solutions yet, they're all personal anecdotes about atrocities with the article. Please read WP:VNT - what can be verified is valued over personal proclamations of "truth". If someone can propose something on the talk page that is policy-based (ie using what Wikipedia deems reliable sources) then it may be unlocked. Please focus on that over any of these strange accusations or consipracy theories. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 16:50, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

Update relating to thank you message

I noted you thanking me about the edit I did on Fire Emblem Awakening. I'm actually preparing a large rewrite in my sandbox with the goal of taking it to GA. It should be easier than I originally thought as there's actually a large amount of information on development and such. Just so you know. --ProtoDrake (talk) 08:33, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

ProtoDrake - Thanks for the update. Yeah, that's an article I've maintained off and on since the game's announcement, but I've never had the motivation to give it the big overhaul/rewrite it deserves. I'm glad you're looking into it, there is a lot of information out there - pretty sure there's some of those "Iwata Asks" - which are pretty good for Development sections. Much like the various Tales and Final Fantasy articles, I'll have it on my watchlist and will try to help with looking it over, tweaking, suggesting stuff, etc. Sergecross73 msg me 12:32, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
Update: I've successfully completed my rewrite. It still needs a lookover to check for errors and such. Would you minds doing that? I'm tired from doing the main rewrite. Oh, and before you ask, there is a reason I chose to refer to the playable character as "Avatar" rather than "Robin": unlike the protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei IV, who was referred to by name in promotional material, the main character of Awakening has only been called Avatar or Player Character or other such neutral synonyms. Them being given the name Robin was done after the original game's release in generally unrelated games. So I made the choice of sticking with how the original material referred to them. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:42, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, I'll have time to look it over tomorrow or Monday. And your Avatar/Robin changes are fine. The reason I switched it to Robin was actually because at one point I was contemplating creating articles for Lucina and Robin, and I figured the article would be some variation of Robin with a disambiguation term, and I thought it would be best if he/she was called Robin consistently across articles. However, like usual, my motivation for major rewrites or article creations come and go quickly, and I lost interest half way through and never did those character spinoff articles. Sergecross73 msg me 01:15, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
ProtoDrake - I looked it over, and it looks pretty good. I made a few tweaks with wiki-links and spelling errors, but I personally didn't see any problems with it. It all seemed well sourced and accurate to what I've experienced and read about with the game. Nice work! Sergecross73 msg me 16:52, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

Thibbs - Yeah, I kind of forgot the feeling, with all my writing here typically having no deadline. ^_^ I think I'm all done, but feel free to tweak anything if there's any obvious typos or mistakes. Problematic editor

Can you please look into Tripple-ddd's edits at Sega? He is intent on deleting huge portions of the article despite opposition from four editors. His actions and behavior suggest he absolutely will not stop edit warring until he is blocked or the page is protected. Regards,TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 01:40, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

I'll gladly look into this tomorrow, but check around the WP:VG talk page - last I checked he was taking a beating from the community for his changes. Sonic 3D Blast music tracklist sourcing

First, how else can I source something that's hidden inside the game's rom? Second, how is Sega-16 any different than any Sonic fansite? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 19:28, 31 March 2015 (UTC)

"Sonic Cult" is a fansite, not a reliable source. They have no credentials, they're just some fans that hack games. People seemed divided on whether or not Sega-16 is reliable or not, but it makes more sense to use a "maybe usable source" over a "definitely not reliable" source. If you're really looking for something else to source this information, try looking in the game's manual, and cite it directly or something. Sergecross73 msg me 19:35, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
The "who did what" composer info is not found in the manual, but rather it was found by extracting data out of the game's ROM. Since this is an unusual case, how else can you cite it? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 01:19, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
I don't know, but some random Sonic Fans reporting back on their supposed efforts to hack the game is not the answer. If it's worth stating, it should be available from a more reliable source. Sergecross73 msg me 01:27, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Don't think any of the standard "reliable sources" would have reported on it, since maybe 100 people in the world would really care. The main fact I was trying to source is that Senoue and Maeda were the main composers. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 01:55, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
I hate to ask, but as this is the only Genesis Sonic platformer I've never beaten, I wonder if it might be spelled out in the credits? Tezero (talk) 02:12, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Dissident93 - If its that rare of a factoid, and that few people have interest in it, then its probably not worth mentioning per WP:FANCRUFT. I think the only notable composer of all of them is Senoue, and that one's easily source-able, since sources made note of the fact that some of his songs from the game were later reused in some future titles like Sonic Adventure.
Tezero - That is true too. It's been years since I've beaten the game, and I certainly wasn't looking for music credits back when I did, but yeah, it seems like that could be a place to confirm it, and then cite the game's end credits. Sergecross73 msg me 12:25, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
@Tezero: The game credits all four composers in the staff roll, however data is hidden inside the ROM file telling who composed and arranged each track, like a soundtrack would. I thought this would be notable enough to mention Setsumaru and Okamoto's minor roles, especially when concerning the infobox. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 21:09, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

World of Power Deletion

Hello,

I'm very sorry that the world of power article was in violation of wikipedia rules. I'm writing an article about a new novel called Fireborn, please see Fireborn (novel) however it's quite deep and has thousands of references. Do i need to make each one significant before going back later to fill it in? Also I agree Amazon is not a great place to reference a book, so i'd like your advice as to where to get book references from. Goodreads acceptable? you can't buy from goodreads. Only learning how to edit, would appreciate any tips to stop admins from deleting the entire page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anotherpapercup (talkcontribs) 15:16, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi there. No problem, I know the rules and policies of Wikipedia can be overwhelming or confusing at first. It helps a lot if you are willing to learn, and asking questions though, so you're off to a good start.
  • All article subjects must meet the requirements at Wikipedia's standards of Notability.
  • In plain English, basically what this means, is that the subject of multiple articles written by reliable sources that are 3rd party - independent from the book writer/publishers themselves.
  • These sources must discuss the subject in great detail. This is one of the reasons why retail listing don't work, they have little to none actual writing about the articles. They're usuable for things like release dates though.
  • Some subjects have additional criteria that could be used to show notability. For books, its criteria at WP:NBOOK. Finding sources is generally the best way though.
So, keeping that all in mind:
  • In regards to World of Power, it appears that this is the fictional world the novel takes place in, correct? I wouldn't recommend attempting that article, it's rather hard to find the detailed sources for things like fictional settings. (I mean, its possible, but it's usually something really popular or mainstream, like Middle Earth or Mordor. Its going to be too hard to find sources for that.
  • In regards to the book Fireborn (novel), reviews like this this may be usable - as it discusses the subject in good detail in its review. I'm not sure if its an authority on books though, I specialize in video games and music/album type articles, so I only have examples of reliable sources in those areas. I'm kind of having a hard time finding sources for it, but I'd recommend finding websites that may have written previews or reviews of it. See if they meet the definition at reliable source.
Let me know if you have any further questions, I can try to help or point you in the right direction. Sergecross73 msg me 16:08, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Wow, what a mess. Thanks for cleaning it up. (Also, I saw your comment yesterday where you wondered if "SergeDQ" was an attempt to make an impersonation account. I appreciated the ping. I do think that it was probably coincidence though, since "Serge" and "Dragon Quest" are both Squaresoft related items, which also happens to what G-Zay is all about. Hi Serge,

I'm not sure why you've deleted the page about DJ JY, I read on here something about a template error? I'm pretty new to Wikipedia, could you perhaps look into creating it? the dude is mentioned in various reliable sources and has verified celebrity accounts on most social media sites, let me know, Thanks.

Therapgod (talk) 15:56, 10 April 2015 (UTC)Therapgod

Click on DJ JY to see the various deletion discussions and rationales. Basically, it's been deleted because there was a consensus to delete it at a deletion discussion, and then it was recreated multiple times with virtually the same content. Its also troubling that the article was created with an account that featured his last name, leading me to think that he created his own article, which is strongly frowned upon here on Wikipedia. If you go to Deletion Review you can start a discussion, if you feel the deletion discussions were handled wrong, or if you think you have new information that changes things. (The standard of having a Wikipedia article is typically at WP:GNG. Sergecross73 msg me 16:01, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

The time has come. I have completed the rewrite for said game. I even managed to find info on its time as a mobile game! Now if you're willing to give it a once-through, I would be grateful. I'm stuck on my mobile phone for most of the weekend though, so it may be closer to Monday before I can do it. (I'm stuck doing mostly vandalism cleaning on my phone. Don't worry. It takes a lot more than than to irritate me, like the plots of Tales of Hearts and 3rd Birthday. For users, it would take something of Niemti or G-Zay scale, frankly (that's not an invitation! lol). Those are still headaches I keep in mind. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:34, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

Were all the edits to that category by socks? There's edits going back to February and I don't see that those editors were blocked. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 08:25, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

I don't recall if I literally checked every single one, but at least like 5 that I spotchecked were. See this conversation at WikiProject Video Games - we've got a long-term, IP and username hopping person who is making a ton of disruptive edits with categories related to video game company categories. I can explain in greater detail if you want, but it may be more or less confusing depending on your familiarity with video games and the companies that make them. A large number of them from this "person" are either fundamentally false, or just not how the project handles the categorization. Anyways, looking into it, I was under the impression that the user who created the category had been blocked, but he actually was just identified as a sock, but not blocked due to becoming dormant by the time we found it. (At the time, the person wasn't ever returning to old IP/Usernames, though that's changed recently too.) If that's enough technicality to restore it, you can if you want, I was just trying to clean up the mess. Sergecross73 msg me 12:37, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

My personal two cents is that the gameplay section is still a little quote heavy (usually there isn't much of a need for direct quotes unless you're citing development info straight from the creator, or reviewer commentary.) But that's just a personal opinion at this point, its no longer a COPYVIO/Notability concern, you're fine if you don't change it. Anyways, I hope you keep making articles like this, it looks good. PS3 thread

A person has linked the PS3 to 87 million units sold through when the last official number is 80 million directly from Sony themselves.

They use a random poster on a forum as a source, and they misread the context of that post as well (which is shipped not sold) but either way that is only a random esitamte. The 80 million has been moved to shipped (which shows this was a troll) if you could fix it and put back 80 million units (sold) 96.255.127.98 (talk) 16:17, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Where is this happening at? You didn't link me to anywhere, and the only other edit you've made from this IP address is you already fixing a figure to 80 million, so I assume that's not where you're talking about, as you've already done it yourself. Anyways, let me know, and I can look into it further... Sergecross73 msg me 16:23, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
I just saw what he is referring to, He's talking about the main PS3 article when you type in PS3 in the search bar. On the right under the picture it indeed says 87 million units sold and 80 million units shipped, which isn't how that works, this has not been confirmed by Sony or a reliable source either. It only leads to a blog which sites a Neogaf forum estimate as an factual source. Edit: Also if you could come to the Xbox 360 talk page as well, I think I figured out what's going on. 71.178.34.108 (talk) 18:00, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Have you had a chance to check this out yet Serge?96.241.32.86 (talk) 14:53, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
No, I hadn't yet. I was wondering if the original IP was going to come by again, and let me know if that other IP was right in clarifying things... Sergecross73 msg me 14:56, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

InfoVista deleted Page

Hi Serge,

First of let me thank for your pro-bona work in keeping the wikipedia beacon of collaboration so bright.

I'm the IT guy for InfoVista and obviously I am trying to move forward with helping people understand who we are through Wikipedia.

We just purchased a very important Gartner Innovation award winning company called Ipanema Technologies. Often when I tell people they look it up Ipanema on Wikipedia (of course), however they often remark on the fact that InfoVista, an even more important player, with a 20 year history of shaping Internet Quality, is not referenced

InfoVista's area of interest is Internet service levels and Radio Mobil coverage, our customer are most of the worlds 1st Tier Telcos We have 500 employees most of them are involved in the Internet in some way or form, programmers, product managers, patent holders etc... We used to be publically traded on the Nasdaq until very recently.

I would be happy to revisit the elements we would like to submit if that a problem but given our domain of activity and role would appreciate it if we could be referenced.

Thx

Mike Howard mhoward@InfoVista.com

Hi Mike. In order for Info Vista to have its own article, its going to need to meet Wikipedia's notability standards for subjects to have their own article. There's also more guidance at Wikipedia's standards for Business/Corporations articles. The short version, is that articles need to be written in accordance to what third party reliable sources say about a subject. See WP:RS for what Wikipedia considers a reliable source, but in general, in commonly boils down to sources that discuss a subject in detail, and have a dedicated staff for writing, history for fact checking, etc. (So, no random obscure bloggers,or two sentence phone number directories.)
If you, or someone else, wants to take a stab at doing this, you can always create a rough draft, and/or get it reviewed and approved by the Articles for Creation group. However, keep in mind, as an employee of the company, you'd probably considered to have a conflict of interest, and it may be best to let someone unaffiliated try to write it. You're not banned from writing it or anything, just discouraged.
Let me know if that's the type of thing you were asking for, or if there's anything else you'd like to know. Sergecross73 msg me 15:04, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Breaking Benjamin/Shaun Foist

I too am having a problem with a problematic editor, claiming to be a 'Breaking Benjamin expert.' He deleted the wiki page for the drummer, Shaun Foist and now, when you do a search on his name, you are directed to the band's Wikipedia page. The same was not done to the other band members, with their individual wiki pages intact (if they have one). What do I need to do to have the page restored? First, I'm dealing with an editor who removed a Wiki Approved Photo - and now this. You've been so helpful in the past - hoping you can once again assist. I was getting ready to insert more content, only to find the page GONE! Btw - this editor is overstepping by delving too much into this band's content and declaring themselves the authority. I'm sure their label will have a serious problem with this. Many thanks! SoozeCat711 (talk) 07:06, 23 April 2015 (UTC) SoozeCat711

Hi, User:SoozeCat711 – I'm sorry you're feeling as though I'm overstepping my boundaries, but please don't be frustrated by my edits. I've been thanked on more than a couple occasions for the work I've been doing, and it's because what I've done thusfar is valid. If you have a problem with what I'm doing, why don't you take it to the talk page or to my talk page and ask specific questions? I'd be happy to answer them. Two more things, I don't think I'm a "Breaking Benjamin expert". In fact, I'm sure I don't know everything there is to know about them. But what I do know is what reliable sources we have, and what information I can use from those sources. That's all Wikipedia can use. Second, I removed the Shaun Foist article, not on my own accord, but after his notability was already determined as too little for his own Wikipedia article. If you want the Shaun Foist article reinstated, you will have to provide more reliable sources which are not only reliable, but also reflect his notability. Thanks, Jacedc (talk) 13:24, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
Oh also, the reason the other band members' articles have not been redirected yet is because I'm waiting seven days from the time of proposal (which you can see on their talk pages), so that if anyone objects to it they can have their say and we can work it out through discussion. That said, Chad Szeliga, Jasen Rauch, and Keith Wallen do actually have some notability independent from Breaking Benjamin, but I haven't gotten around to rewriting those pages yet (with the exception of Rauch). But Aaron Fincke, Mark Klepaski, Jeremy Hummel, etc., couldn't possibly display independent notability through reliable sources. Jacedc (talk) 13:28, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi Sooze. Yes, I recall talking with you about Foist about 6 months ago. If you recall, I felt that there were not enough reliable sources covering specifically him in significant detail. 6 months passed and the issue was not ever really addressed, so you really can't fault Jacedc for what he did. I'm honestly surprised it didn't happen sooner. I may have done it myself had I not forgotten about it. Anyways, all is not lost. I agree with Jace that it's not good enough in its current state, but we can always move it into a WP:DRAFT, and you can work on it there, and maybe have Jace or I look it over before it's moved back into the regular space? Alternatively, if you disagree with Jace and I's opinion, you could always attempt to create an article through the Articles for Creation process, where each one is evaluated by a volunteer and either accepted/rejected by them. Jacedc, SoozeCat711 - I've moved the conversation to a new section, because it was unrelated to the other incident, FYI. Tagging you guys so you see that I've moved it, not erased it. Sergecross73 msg me 14:10, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

Reference errors on 23 April

Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:27, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

User you have blocked has returned?

I can't seem to find the post anymore, but I believe either this is the same guy who's returned or just a user who should be monitored, as he keeps incorrectly changing the game's developers and publishers. All of the info can be checked via the game's credits, as a company who only supplied legal support and marketing should not be credited as a co-developer. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:09, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Serge, I can't seem to find the previous data, but if the IPs are documented, AND within a similar range, I might be able to look into a rangeblock. ☺ · Salvidrim! ·  20:34, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
Yup, it's that same IP that has been making all sorts of errors with video game categories, developers, and publishers that we've been tracking at WP:VG. Thanks for pointing it out, he's blocked now. Not necessarily all edits are bad, but an upsetting number have errors, and he's been basically block evading for about 2 months, so I revert them all. Let me know if you find any others. Sorry for not seeing that post, I thought it was under another name. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 05:35, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
No, it's fine, it's not like you need to be aware of everything going on everywhere, and it doesn't matter if people alert me to these IPs here or at WPVG. Sergecross73 msg me 12:41, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi there, long time no see. No, I haven't noticed any socks of Jak in quite some time, probably not since you left. Sergecross73 msg me 02:52, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello. I've undeleted this article that you A7d yesterday. I agree that it was an A7 candidate but they are a very important label in the history of drum and bass, though sources are hard to come by. I've added a couple of sources to demonstrate their importance. SmartSE (talk) 14:10, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

I can't say I agree, but I won't stop you from trying. I think you're going to have an uphill battle if someone takes it to AFD though... Sergecross73 msg me 14:19, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
