Proofs in the exponential function article[edit]

Proofs are not normally included in Wikipedia articles, that is left to the references. Small proofs just taking a couple of lines may be put in but they are more to explain than prove. Larger proofs which are notable in themselves are also sometimes included but the citations are always the definitive versions.

As to non-standard analysis that is tangential to the topic. The non-standard analysis article is more suitable for work on that but if there is some particularly noteworthy non-standard aspect relating to the exponential function that could be included. Dmcq (talk) 10:54, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
