Please help me with... I'm trying to edit Harwich Mayflower Project to display the title as Harwich Mayflower Project (the Mayflower in the title is a ship). My edit here didn't work with a red error message so I undid it. The article has a template Infobox ship begin, but another edit here to attempt to add a parameter didn't work either. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:12, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
- I fixed the title with this edit. That parameter had to be added to {{infobox ship begin}}, not one of the subtemplates. --AntiCompositeNumber (Leave a message) 13:30, 11 February 2017 (UTC)

Prods of disambiguation pages[edit]
Hi, I've noticed you have prodded a lot of pages with "(disambiguation)" in the title on the grounds that they only disambiguate two articles. These articles qualify for speedy deletion under WP:G6, as uncontroversial maintenance, since most if not all of the articles you have nominated have a clear primary topic and the dab page only lists one article in addition to the primary topic. I tagged a bunch of your prods the other day and found quite a few more again today. Hope this helps. —KuyaBriBriTalk 00:31, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks @Kuyabribri:, that is helpful, and I've noticed admins usually cite G6 when deleting the pages. However, WP:G6 says template DB-disamb can be applied "For orphaned disambiguation pages that refer to either one or zero pages" - not two. See, for example, Dujiangyan (disambiguation) where, as at now, I PRODed it, user:Boleyn speedied it, but Neo-Jay contested it. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:58, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, Kuyabribri and Shhh, Shhh is right that a WP:2DABS situation doesn't meet the criteria at Template:db-disambig and so should be prodded. Some of these I've speedied (like Dujiangyan (disambiguation)) because they contained a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and a partial match. That one was removed because although it looked like a partial match, the creator asserted that it is commonly known by the shortened version. Boleyn (talk) 10:50, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Uhuru (wholefoods shop)[edit]
Hello Shhhnotsoloud. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Uhuru (wholefoods shop), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: previous version of article contains a book source, so significance might exist. Use WP:AFD instead. Thank you. SoWhy 07:56, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

May 2017[edit]
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Hero-class patrol vessel, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Ship classes are not italicized if they are not named after a ship Llammakey (talk) 15:26, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Llammakey: I'm sorry I made a mistake in italicizing the ship class name. I've now read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ships) which you didn't cite but I found it, so I won't do it again. You'll notice that my edits to the articles about Hero-class vessels included adjusting punctuation, removing improper use of Template:', in 2 cases quoting from the cited sources regarding the origin of the name, and in one case deleting unsourced material duplicated from elsewhere. Since you've deemed my edits to be disruptive editing rather than follow guidance to assume good faith, I will not be returning to re-make those parts of my edit. Your use of Template:Uw-disruptive1 is way out of line. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:53, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- You disrupted my editing, I had to come fix your uniformed editing mistakes. I then had to clean up those pages before you returned. Read the project guidelines and don't waste my time. Good faith is for newbies, not long-serving editors. Llammakey (talk) 11:03, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- What WP:AGF actually says is "Everyone makes mistakes ... Most of the time, we can correct such mistakes with simple reminders. " Read the guidelines and "Keep a cool head". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:09, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted[edit]
Hi Shhhnotsoloud, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 10:14, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: thank you, an unexpected pleasure! Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:05, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
Well done, I'm glad you got the rights. Don't thank me though, the articles were too good to need reviewing. Boleyn (talk) 18:37, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
Noctorum (band) CSD declined[edit]
Good evening Shhhnotsoloud. I declined your CSD of Noctorum (band) because there's a credible claim of significance as one of the band's members has an article. If you still want to try deletion, I suggest you take it to AFD, though there's always the possibility of redirecting it to Marty_Willson-Piper#Solo_career_and_Noctorum. Speedy deletion declined: Tihama (company)[edit]
Hello Shhhnotsoloud. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Tihama (company), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: previously decllined in 2006, thus not eligible for speedy deletion. Thank you. SoWhy 15:39, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
Black Book (Rebus)[edit]
Hello there:
Thanks for your note about this; I have replied at the AfD. Regards, Swanny18 (talk) 21:24, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
PS: Just to let you know, I've deleted the notability tag on this page, for the reason given. Also, (without wishing to be stalkerish in any way) I've edited The Representative (disambiguation) and Újpest (disambiguation) (which you had also prodded), and I've left a note at Talk:Rebus (TV series), if you wish to comment. I thought I should let you know. Regards, Swanny18 (talk) 00:06, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Warren Church. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 15:06, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Cyberbot I: The AfD tag was removed per my comment at the AfD entry (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Warren Church) because another editor had moved the page under deletion discussion, resulting in an AfD tag at both Warren Church and Warren Church (politician). My removal of the tag was intentional and not disruptive. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:45, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
Sweatman (disambiguation) listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Sweatman (disambiguation). Since you had some involvement with the Sweatman (disambiguation) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Peter James (talk) 12:45, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
TCR / Tottenham Court Road[edit]
This is a marginal case, but I have heard locals and blogs talk about "TCR" and mean Tottenham Court Road for years. You won't find it very much in respected sources, but it does crop up enough to be a cursory mention. Still, I'm not going to re-revert if you disagree and revert back. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:00, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Ritchie333: I don't doubt you at all, Ritchie, and I like the edit to Tottenham Court Road! Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:06, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

merge closure[edit]
Hello. Thank you for closing the old merge proposal on Flag of Nigeria (1914–1960). Just wanted to ask a favour, would you be able to close the merge proposal on Triangular corner flags in English football please as the consensus on the merge proposal is against merging? — Preceding unsigned comment added by The C of E (talk • contribs) 16:34, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- @The C of E: Please forgive me if I don't. It looks (mildly) controversial and I think what I read as a lack of consensus would be better judged by an admin, if only presentationally. May I suggest you ask at WP:AN. Cheers, Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:55, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 23[edit]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pennie Lane Trumbull, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Equestrian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:36, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Apologies[edit]
Sorry, I was hasty in my revert there - should have assumed you were working on the disambiguation page and given you a while to finish. GirthSummit 16:41, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

Red Lion admissibility[edit]
Hey there. A question about why you deleted the mention to DC Comic's character in Red Lion. I don't really know why the character should be mentioned in the wiki pages i referred to. It is already known that Deathstroke's page has to be updated to include Rebirth and the character of Red Lion appeared in Rebirth. Honestly I think that updating what's missing rather that removing honest contributions (it's not even vandalism) would be way more interesting for Wikipedia. --EyedMoon (talk) 14:08, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- Hello @EyedMoon: - thanks for asking. I had not inferred vandalism and am very happy to assume good faith on your part. Entries on disambiguation pages must refer to an article in which the actual term is mentioned: see MOS:DABMENTION. Disambiguation pages are not lists of meanings of phrases: entries must point to an article on the subject, or the mention of the subject. Sending a reader to Deathstroke if Red Lion isn't mentioned there doesn't help the reader. By all means add an entry that points to an article with a mention, with one blue entry per line. You might find Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts useful. Regards, Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:21, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
