Disambiguation link notification for January 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mysore Rosewood Inlay, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yellow wood (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

7 more days to create or expand articles[edit]

Seven 7 Days.svg

Hello, thanks a lot for participating in Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon. We understand that perhaps 7 days (i.e. 25 January to 31 January) were not sufficient to write on a topic like this, and/or you may need some more time to create/improve articles, so let's extend this event for a few more days. The edit-a-thon will continue till 10 February 2016 and that means you have got 7 more days to create or expand articles (or imprpove the articles you have already created or expanded).

The rules remain unchanged. Please report your created or expanded articles.

Joining now

Editors, who have not joined this edit-a-thon, may also join now.

Reviewing articles

Reviewing of all articles should be done before the end of this month (i.e. February 2016). We'll keep you informed. You may also check the event page for more details.

A special barnstar will be given to all the participants who will create or expand articles during this edit-a-thon. The editors, who will perform exceptionally well, may be given an Indic Geographical Indication product or object. However, please note, nothing other than the barnstar has been finalized or guaranteed. We'll keep you informed.

Thanks, Shrikanthv, for joining up so quickly and already contributing to our project. I picked your name up from the Indian notice board discussions. I see you placed "Mirra Alfassa's artistic works" in the DYK section but I cannot find an article with that name and the Mirra Alfassa article does not seem to have been nominated for DYK. Maybe it's something under development?--Ipigott (talk) 12:42, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi thanks for the invite, I am preparing some sources and material for edits to come, Thanks Shrikanthv (talk) 12:54, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Following the discussion, I have started this section, could you do initial works before we ask the larger team to participate? Or if you have any suggestions, please let me know. --Tito Dutta (talk) 05:43, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
