Rollback[edit]

Hello The Joker, I've granted your account rollback rights. You are trusted with rights such as bureaucrat on another Wiki, so you are easily trustworthy with rollback here. If you don't want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. Acalamari 19:45, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome for rollback! Acalamari 17:04, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding featured articles[edit]

I'm not totally sure what you mean. Are you asking for a list of all featured articles on the English Wikipedia? Acalamari 01:40, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not very familiar with the featured article process, to be honest. I think somebody like Raul654 or SandyGeorgia might be better to ask, as they're more involved with featured articles. Acalamari 01:33, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. :) Acalamari 16:35, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:24, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Hi The Joker, thanks so much for the barnstar! :) Wow...it's been four years since I gave you rollback? It's amazing how long it's been! I'm glad you found the tool useful. Best. Acalamari 09:42, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SUL help[edit]

Hi TheJoker! I hope you're well. :) I need your help; I'm in the process of SUL-ifying my account. The majority of "Acalamaris" across the various Wikipedias were created by vandals, rather than me, and I only have control of a few; however, my account on the Portuguese Wikipedia was one created by a vandal but one that I was able to take over. Unfortunately, that account is currently blocked, even though I thought it was no longer blocked. Can you unblock me (I'm not the vandal and I'd like that account unblocked, as it is mine!) or pass me on to someone who can, please? Thank you. :) Acalamari 08:33, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay. :) I have control of pt:User:Acalamari, but for some reason, it's still blocked from when a vandal created it years ago. I just need it unblocking; it doesn't need renaming or anything else. Acalamari 08:06, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not unblocked just yet but thanks for filing the request! :) Acalamari (from Bellatrix Kerrigan) 20:29, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for getting me unblocked over there! I really appreciate what you've done for me. :) Best. Acalamari (from Bellatrix Kerrigan) 22:38, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Slade. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Talk:Municipal Zoological Park "Quinzinho de Barros", a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Does not rely on a page that does not exist.
