Club infobox dates[edit]

Hi, when updating club infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 02:18, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep this in mind! Robby.is.on (talk) 19:49, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I can't believe this is still happening six years later… Robby.is.on (talk) 20:24, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What exactly is happening? Slash V (talk) 15:36, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You updated numbers without updating the timestamps, at Sambou Yatabaré and quite a few other pages. Robby.is.on (talk) 17:32, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Like it happens in almost every other page. At least you could corect it yourself and not just undo the changes and bring back a page to just a false state. Slash V (talk) 06:12, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You should take ownership of your mistakes instead of reproaching others for not cleaning up after you and pointing to others making the same mistake. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:22, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of course it's not a mistake! It's an oversight! The mistake is changing correct stats and returning the number back to the wrong not up-to-date ones. Slash V (talk) 13:22, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think you'll find that most football editors here disagree with that assessment. I count at least three warnings on your Talk page reminding you to update timestamps when updating the numbers. Robby.is.on (talk) 18:26, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You will not have to worry about me anymore. I'm done editing...
Have a nice time, bye. Slash V (talk) 19:34, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sambou Yatabaré[edit]

Hi! Thanks for updating Sambou Yatabaré's article for his release by Antwerp. How did you arrive at the caps totals ([1])? The stats table indicates he made 20 league appearances with 1 goal in 2017–18 and 17 league appearances with 1 goal in 2018–19… Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 12:47, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi my friend! I changed the statistics based on transfermarkt. I'm sorry in advance if I have made a mistake. If so, please correct it. Have a nice day. Slash V (talk) 13:07, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I have corrected it. Be aware that generally only league appearances are counted in the infobox, not cup or international appearances. Also, in the case of the Belgian leagues (as well as the Dutch and some others) there are play-off matches which we don't include. Some websites don't differentiate between regular league appearances and appearances in the league play-offs. worldfootball.net does, so it's a good resource for players playing in those leagues. Happy editing, Robby.is.on (talk) 13:30, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
