Hello User:Buster7,

I just saw that GoP vent you made and I immediately knew it was for me. Just so you know, I havent dropped any balls. I have been telling from a "very" long time that someone else back me up for the infoboxes so we have no problems. I even gave quite some time myself just so I could edit those infoboxes long after my circumstances told me I should stop, just because I saw nobody else stepping in. I do appreciate the work you're putting in too, but please dont think I am not. It's just that I cant. And I told you that.

Also, I hope you know copyright concerns are serious on Wikipedia. It would be a very bad for EotW if we awarded the infobox AND THEN the image was removed. Why risk it when you can be safe?

Finally, I know the comment you are referring to was quite harsh, and it was. I am not sure what I was thinking when I wrote it (And this is NOT a justification) but your comment before wasnt the best either. I'm sure that was contributing, atleast (towards my harshness in response).

I like being a part of EotW, but if you'd rather have the places filled, I'm fine with that. Let me know what you think.

Soni. I agree I was a bit harsh. I apologize for my insensitivity. I have 13 grandchildren and I'm a bit harsh with them too. Like you said, not an excuse, just a fact. I did not mean to reflect on you personally...and I (and I'm sure everyone) truly appreciate(s) the work you have done as a part of the team of editors at EotW. Together we have created a really awesome sub-Project. And ...I certainly hope you will continue to be part of the team. One thing that needs to be looked at is the recipients of the Award box on one of the talk pages (not sure which one). The last three or four need to be "jiggled" in the last collumn. Done. What we do is we take the CURRENT REVISION of the article (click on the latest date at the talk History). Then click on The EotW heading in the table of contents to get to the EotW section. You shouldnt post your email id. But there is a way to link email ids to Wikipedia accounts so that the "Email this user" button appears at the left [Like I have right now.] When you do that, any user who wants to contact you can do so, but they cannot see your email id. But you see both their username and email id, which makes this feature safe to use. I dont see any option to email you yet. Have you confirmed the email id from the account? Also, is the option to "mail this user" enabled?

Wikipedia:Babel - here. You might want to check which categories apply to you. If you take my advice, I suggest you look into whether you can help tranlating pages from Spanish to English. You might turn out very good at it. Rock, alternative rock, psychedelic rock etc. I listen to Metallica, Coldplay and Pink Floyd the most [in the opposite order though]. I wasnt. Seriously. And to get the article to FA, you have to make it really really good. FA is bigger than GA, which Bono isnt. So it will take a lot of effort and expertise, but its possible.

Once you get it through FA, getting it to TFA will be relatively easy. Once that is done, we might be able to draw their attention by telling them that their fans want them to watch Wikipedia on so and so date. He might be so pleased that he wants to meet you.

For any article, the best place to start is to check out the sources. Find out all about any books you can find on him. Get them, if you can. Get all kinds of sources, both online, and offline.

The second step is to mine those sources. Get everything that's useful inside. Remove unreliable sources. Add reliable ones. That sort of stuff. Keep NPOV

Then is the balancing - Look at the various sections. Find if any one of them have extra emphasis than required; look at the general tone etc, make sure the criticism is balanced etc..

Finally is the formatting - Look at whatever is left. Small tidbits and stuff here and there that need to be mended etc.

Nothing. These are trolls. They dont care what you've done. As long as you are doing good, they'll try to attack you. You just ban them and ignore them.

Also, I suggest that before doing anything "new" on your own, you check up with me or Cullen or one of your stalkers. Slow down[edit]

Laura, You're a great editor, but you need to slow down a little. There are some things you aren't doing right (FA and Peer Review) and you require someone experienced to help before you do that. You really need to just ask, and let someone else do it. You can stay involved all the while, but let the first step be taken by someone else please. There are way too many ripples you're causing. What I mean by ripple is - Every time someone does something wrong, there are things to be sorted out by others. Those are ripples. So if there is some mistake repeated too many times, it becomes kind-of hard to keep track of all of them, and rectify them. Which is why asking before doing is always better than doing.
