Democrats[edit]

Ok, if there are reputable sources calling them centrist (and I don't doubt there are), then why not include both terms? If we have to follow the sources, we'll follow the sources. The big problem I see with the lead right now is that it doesn't describe the party's ideological character. The infobox does that, sure, but the information in the infobox should be described in the lead through summary style.UBER (talk) 03:39, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize if my behavior has seemed offensive. Do you want to parallel the Lib Dem lead then? We could say "a centrist to center-left modern liberal party." What do you think of that?UBER (talk) 03:53, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok we have a deal. Go ahead and implement the changes yourself.UBER (talk) 04:04, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Marriage[edit]

The source you gave for John Kitzhaber does not mention any marriage and my search in the Google News Archive revealed nothing. Did you mix up something? Hekerui (talk) 07:26, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The labor party is active in more than one state. They have chosen to run for election in South Carolina, but that does not make them a regional party. See Peace and Freedom Party, which is based primarily in California but is active in other states too. 96.237.100.188 (talk) 00:53, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Democratic Party (United States)[edit]

Please stop making the bogus claim that the Democratic Party is affiliated with the Progressive Alliance; the reference you inserted into the article says nothing of the sort. --Orange Mike | Talk 12:41, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:WikiProject United States/The 50,000 Challenge[edit]

You are invited to participate in the 50,000 Challenge, aiming for 50,000 article improvements and creations for articles relating to the United States. This effort began on November 1, 2016 and to reach our goal, we will need editors like you to participate, expand, and create. See more here!

Your draft article, Draft:Left (Poland)[edit]

Hello, Sparrowhawk64. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Left".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Suggestion[edit]

Hello, Sparrowhawk64! I am very glad to see that you added Template:User Confederate removal and Template:User No Confederate flag to your userpage. Having that in mind, I must ask you to consider endorsing a closely related essay, WP:NOCONFED, in which creation I participated. Of course, this is just a suggestion, nothing more.
