September 2015[edit]

I have researched and revised the article on Digital Scriptorium and have removed any language that appeared to be self-promotional. I recommend that the article is appropriate content and that it should no longer be flagged. St. Brigit (talk) 10:57, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [1] MrOllie (talk) 13:31, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I think these links are ok, & will reinstate them. This is a useful non-commercial resource as a major site by a consortium of US museums & university libraries & well set up. It's been added to a number of relevant pages & should probably not be added to many more, except those on specific manuscripts on the site. Johnbod (talk) 13:43, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Dojoji道成寺.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dojoji道成寺.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:06, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:PlimptonMS040A.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:PlimptonMS040A.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.
