The article Steve Obsitnik has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Status and Advice

[edit]

Why on earth did you choose to create this bio without any mention of his political candidacy.? Without it, there is almost no chance of notability, I've added the basics. You can add some more, such as whether he won the nomination--if he did, it is possible to make a case for the article. It will probably be sent for a deletion discussion anyway, but at least there's a chance for it. Remember to avoid a promotional tone and any copying from a previously published source. If you add back what I removed, it will be undoubtedly deleted as promotional. DGG ( talk ) 02:35, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
