Hi. Regarding the edits you are making to make more sections in articles, please mind MOS:LAYOUT's guidance. Per Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Layout#Headings_and_sections, "Very short or very long sections and subsections in an article look cluttered and inhibit the flow of the prose. Hi - I've noticed many of your edits recently as I update player pages for independent leagues (e.g. Atlantic League) and foreign leagues (e.g. Mexican League). While I'm glad that you have added information to make many pages more accurate, the formatting you are using for headings and subheadings does not follow Wikipedia guidelines. Per MOS:SECTIONCAPS, all section headings should use Sentence case, not title case. This means that the letter of the first word should be capitalized, but the rest should be lower case - except for the team name. An example would be 'Second stint with _____________ (team)' instead of 'Second Stint With _____ (team) as you have been doing.

I'd recommend checking out MOS:CAPS as a reference if you want further information. In the meantime, please stop formatting sections in this manner - it is already going to require a lot of work to correct all of the pages that you had modified.

Hey I wanted to give you a heads up, try to refrain from using the website Profootballrumors.com. Just purely on name alone (we don't discuss rumors per WP:CRYSTAL), there's reliability questions, not to mention it's a site independent from any major news source, which makes it fall under WP:SELFPUB which means the creators would have to be considered known experts for it to be reliable and it doesn't appear the people responsible for the website qualify as known experts.--Rockchalk717 22:40, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

If you actually check the site, it is reliable, not just rumors. It includes trade rumors and other news but any transaction or signing that is reported always ends up being correct. Really makes no sense why these websites are considered unreliable. It has rumor in the name only because it includes rumors, and all transactions reported are true and reflect on other later reports. I used the site because it comes out with news earlier with other sites. Additionally it’s no less credible then any other sources, but obviously the “rumors” part in the name arose problems so if I am unbanned or whenever I am able to edit next I will try to use better sources or just find a way to make the site a credible source. It's not just rumors in the title that is the issue. I explained to you previously that by Wikipedia's definition of reliable sources it's not considered reliable. Additionally, it's an independent website separate from any known reliable sources (ESPN, NFL Media, any major newspaper etc) because of this it falls under WP:SELFPUB which means that the contributors must be known experts, which means they have to be well known journalists in this instance, which they are not. It does appear they do get most of their reports correct, but until they fit Wikipedia's definition of a reliable source, they shouldn't be used as a source. Hello. Today, I (Stonecold415) am requesting to be unblocked from Wikipedia. I was previously blocked for errant edits, and then indefinitely on suspicion of sockpuppetry. I have some reasons as to why it should be reversed. To start, I have thoroughly reviewed the Wikipedia guidelines, and understand why I was blocked, and what I can do to make reliable, effective edits while staying within the rules set in place. I acknowledge that TradeRumors is not a reliable source and will focus on finding better, more reliable sources to source on pages. Next, in May 2022, my roommate requested that I edit for them, to which I obliged. I was later blocked on that account on 5 May, and was requested to avoid editing for six months (until 4 November 2022) by user Eagles247. I have not edited anything on Wikipedia since that day. Additionally, I have discovered that editing on someone else's account is against policy, and understand why I was blocked. From now on, I know I will only edit on my own account. I currently live alone, and have no alternate accounts that are accessible to me. To restate, I will no longer errantly use unreliable sources, and will only edit on this account that belongs to me. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Jacob Young (baseball). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else.
