One Thousand and One Arabian Nights Update[edit]

I've modified your entry for One Thousand and One Arabian Nights in order to flush it out a bit more. There's still some more content that needs to be added in, but I found it while searching for works of Osamu Tezuka. Hopefully you like what you see and might be able to provide some more information on the USA release of the film.

Kureopatora[edit]

Added a Film Box and extra information for yah. Hope that helps.

Still need to see if anyone can give plot summaries for those two films.

OtakuMan 16:12, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are two versions, please do not delete info about the differences, and do not use a misleading edit summary like "cleanup".--Patrick 10:34, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The 120 version of Death Proof was released separately from the Grindhouse double feature. As the information that an extended version was created is already in the body of the article, it doesn't need to be mentioned in the infobox. (Ibaranoff24 13:50, 21 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Your argument "The article is about Grindhouse as a double feature, not Grindhouse as seperate films." would make sense if you would move the deleted info to a separate page on Death Proof, or on its extended version. However, people voted against "Splitting Death Proof; Planet Terror", even you yourself was against that.--Patrick 23:33, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When did I delete info? The info was still in the article, it just wasn't in the infobox. There's a difference! By the way, if you had taken a look at the article recently, you'd see that I put in a footnote on the runtimes of the individual films that includes the runtime of the extended version of Death Proof, even though this is redundant and not needed in the first place. You are never happy no matter what changes are made! (Ibaranoff24 14:33, 22 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

You deleted " It shows the "missing reel" with the lapdance, and an extra black-and-white part."

Also there was neutral info about the split, and info about objections. It is POV to mix that.--Patrick 22:27, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I reverted your removal of the category 'Comedy Horror Films' from this page, as you didn't explain it and it seems a perfectly reasonable category to apply. Sorry if there's a valid reason! Angus Lepper(T, C, D) 21:47, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I understand (re: your edit summary during the reinsertion). Hope you understand my initial concern, however. :-) Angus Lepper(T, C, D) 21:52, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bakshi website[edit]

Hi there. I was reading Wikipedia:Featured article review/The Lord of the Rings (1978 film), and I noticed your comments about the Bakshi website. Is that information available on the website, or did you find out from the Bakshis themselves? If the latter, would it be possible to get more information from them on the finer points of the article? If not, don't worry. It was just a thought. Hope the FAR goes OK. If you want more help, let me know. Carcharoth 23:28, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA[edit]

I've endorsed you for adminship, and have added myself to your RfA as a nominator. I think you should read and reply to it. Thank you for volunteering to help Wikipedia further, and good luck. The Transhumanist 01:07, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would be a good idea to expand your answers to the "optional" questions ASAP. The only weakness you've shown is an unfamiliarity with the RfA process, and that is an extremely weak reason to oppose. It doesn't appear that anyone besides me has even looked at your contributions, and have based their decisions entirely upon your responses and upon others' comments (something we call "pile-on"). So I highly recommend that you show off your expertise in your answers to questions #1, #2, and #3, and any others that get posted, so that others have a basis upon which to judge you. I know you are qualified, but you need to prove to those reading your RfA that you are. They want to know you well enough to make a decision, and if there is a lack of information, they will naturally vote on the side of caution. Good luck. And regardless of what happens, keep up your good work on Wikipedia. If you don't make it this time, I will be glad to nominate you the next time around. The Transhumanist 01:39, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Questions at RfA[edit]

Please elaborate on your answers to the Optional Questions, and please state in your RfA that you will fill in your edit summaries. Many of those who voted neutral are waiting for more input from you, and they may change their votes. There may also be neutral users who didn't vote at all. The better you do in this RfA, the easier your next RfA will be. Ignoring it will just cause you problems later. The main concern expressed in your RfA is poor communication. You should address this concern immediately by communicating better in your RfA. Your lack of response appears to be avoidance, which comes across as timidity or even worse as apathy, which are not good traits in an admin. We're looking for admins who can mediate effectively, who really care, and who don't shy away from problems. You should perform in your RfA as you would if you were already an admin. Demonstrate the relevant admin skills, and show everyone why they have nothing to worry about. I hope you decide not to let it slide. Good luck. The Transhumanist 07:54, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted some questions for you at your RfA[edit]

I look forward to your replies. The Transhumanist 08:46, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA[edit]

Are you sure you wouldn't rather withdraw your RfA at this point? I would guess that you have received the full measure of considered criticism you are going to get, and any future opposes you receive will only weigh down the historical total. Considering its just about impossible to turn this around, you should consider withdrawing in my opinion. Avruchtalk 23:21, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA was unsuccessful[edit]

I am sorry to inform you that I have closed your RfA as unsuccessful. Do not be too disheartened - many of our finest admins were unsuccessful on their first attempt. I hope you will take onboard the concerns raised by those opposing and will consider running again in the future when you have more experience. Best wishes, WjBscribe 17:11, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Creating an infobox[edit]

Yo man, I hate to bug you, but do you know how to create an infobox. I'm trying to use them for Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, because I want to add the wrestling info AND rapper info. In order to do that I have to make my own infobox, but the instuructions are confussing. They're found here at Template:Infobox. You got any idea on how to do it?Juggalobrink (talk) 02:42, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template talkheader[edit]

Hi, I saw you added a lot of Talkheader templates to talk pages. It is not necessary to do that for every article though, only when it is needed. See also this discussion. Garion96 (talk) 22:07, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your copyedit request[edit]

On 24 August 2007, you made a request to the League of Copyeditors for a copyedit of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. Quick request[edit]

In the future, if you could use {{Film}} instead of {{FilmsWikiProject}}, I'd be very grateful. Although the latter one automatically redirects to the former, it has been deprecated, and we're trying to phase out its usage as task force tagging slowly occurs over the next year or so. Knowing that it's not being added to new articles would put me greatly at ease. Thanks! Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 04:08, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

Hello Ibaranoff24, I've granted rollback rights to your account. You would have received rollback had your request for adminship had been successful, but since it didn't pass I thought you might find rollback useful. Just remember that rollback is for reverting vandalism, and not to be used to revert good-faith edits or to rever-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you don't want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. What is the idea behind the image you put on the Antichrist Superstar article? That is not what the Antichrist Superstar album cover looks like at all. This is the real version [1]. Please Google Images 'Antichrist Superstar and review the results. You will see that image you produced was not in fact the album cover, or it some abstract alternate cover I've never seen before. Would it trouble you to much if I suggested you research this kind of thing in the future? — Save_Us 10:15, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After some looking into it, your version appeared to be some kind of alternate cover (which is new to me, because I never seen it before). My only suggestion, if I may, is to research the correct album cover more carefully so these little problems don't occur. Regards, — Save_Us 11:04, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your addition of ratings templates to various articles: please keep in mind that the stars template should only be used for publications that actually use star ratings. Thanks[edit]

Kind of a late reply, but I wanted to thank you for the message you left on my talk page way back in December. Your calm and courteous explanation crystalized several important Wikipedia policies for me and helped me understand what is good content and what is not, and I have tried to use the same attitude in dealing with other newbies who have made similar mistakes. Music genres[edit]

Hello. I noticed this and came up with a concern. Are the song genres at Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and Jennifer Lopez excessive and/or incomplete? Example, someone tried adding this one to 2Pac's article, which I removed per a talk I had with a sysop. Please reply on your talk page, as I'm watching this conversation. Copyedit[edit]

Hi, I received your message and would like to copyedit the text of the Insane Clown Posse article. I will get started on it today. Thank you--Startstop123 (talk) 13:51, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed that a nomination for featured article has already been requested. I just wanted to make sure that you no longer needed help copyediting this article. Thanks.--Startstop123 (talk) 17:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I have gone through the article and made appropriate changes where needed. It was pretty well written as it was and I only had to make minor changes. The only suggestions that I would make are: 1. make mention of the Joker's Cards. An explanation is needed somewhere in Early History (maybe added in to the part where Bruce's dream is discussed?) so that it is clear when it is mentioned later on in Independent Releases. 2. the use of "their". I am not sure how to address this. Their is technically a plural pronoun, while Insane Clown Posse is a singular entity. I consulted my collegues and the Internet and received mixed answers from both sources. It seems that it is up to the writer's discretion, since their is used freely in conversation, etc., so I am going to go ahead and leave it alone. If you decide that you would like the use of singular pronouns or to reword the sentences, I would be happy to do that as well. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help contribute to this article. Thanks--Startstop123 (talk) 20:25, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Insane Clown Posse[edit]

Hey, great work on the article so far man. I used to be about the only one working on it, but now you've done an incredible amount. But I just noticed that their wrestling facts were removed a while back. Any reason why? Becuase I'm going to bring them back if there's really no reason. Nice job again. Juggalobrink (talk) 20:02, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Most wrestlers pages don't have sources for wrestling facts. They usually only have them for championships, which there are two sources for ICP's championships including the JCW website.Juggalobrink (talk) 22:44, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
