Parapaar[edit]

Hello, Sujoynag75, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Parapaar, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Unishe April. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 03:26, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sanjoy Nag, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Sanjoy Nag[edit]

Articles should be done in a neutral point of view. Having only glowing quotes is not neutral. The article is about a person, not a movie. Only an infobox about the person, not movie should go into the article. Bgwhite (talk) 05:12, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Sanjoy Nag. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Bgwhite (talk) 05:32, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

  • I don't find any problem with the glowing quotes as these were the achievements of Sanjoy Nag. All of them are from neutral sources. The film box has been removed.

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Sanjoy Nag. Jim1138 (talk) 05:52, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

  • what's the problem ? Kindly revert with details.

Sanjoy Nag[edit]

The wording is unencyclopedic, uses wp:puffery, and is overly promotional. Please do not restore it. Jim1138 (talk) 05:59, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Pardon the spell checker error, should be UNencyclopedic. Jim1138 (talk) 06:04, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Why do you think they are UNencyclopedic ? The person have received these accolades from critics and are absolutely neutral. There should not be any problem in referring what people think on a person or subject. I will report to resolution center. Sujoynag75 (talk) 06:11, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

They maybe neutral sources, but that is not the point. We don't put ONLY glowing praise. Where is the bad praise? Every film has positive and negative reviews, so do people. Also, read the links given. Bgwhite (talk) 06:25, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
These are like achievements as awards are. These are accolades for the skills the person has.Sujoynag75 (talk) 06:34, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
"Sanjoy Nag is a very able director and the film surely reflects his efficiency in the craft, though Memories in March is his first film"
This is not an award or an achievement. It came from a review of his film. Not everybody likes his film. Not everybody likes his direction of the film. Saying "is a very able director" is not special and is said about thousands of directors. Bgwhite (talk) 07:14, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
If that is said about thousands of directors then don't you think those thousands of directors are special among the billions of directors (probably) present in the universe.Sujoynag75 (talk) 02:12, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
