Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Taasa Orphan Program, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was User:Taasa Orphan Program/sandbox (moved from User:Taasa Orphan Program), which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:54, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Taasa Orphan Program", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:55, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the draft you created to your "sandbox"

[edit]

I noticed you had what appears to be a draft article in your "main" user page, User:Taasa Orphan Program.

Your "main" user page can be left blank, but if you do use it, it's mean to tell other editors a bit about yourself as an editor on Wikipedia. A very small amount of information about your "off-Wiki" life is also acceptable, but it should be only a small part of the page if it is there at all.

You can also use your "main" user page to keep notes for yourself, such as a list of pages you've edited or topics you are interested in. This is all optional.

I moved your draft to your "personal sandbox," which is at User:Taasa Orphan Program/sandbox. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:58, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have requested that this page be deleted as "spam" because: I removed some content that was copied from a page on Wikipedia's blacklist. The remaining content, as well as the un-redacted version, would need to be completely rewritten to be encyclopedic. There is also no evidence that this organization meets Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies).
Please do not repost it or attempt to write about this organization, at least not until you have a firm grasp of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please read Help:My first article and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not as well as Wikipedia:Copyright policy before editing outside of this page or asking to be un-blocked. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 20:13, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.
