Paul McCartney[edit]

Please stop replacing the image of McCartney. The one you are trying to add is clearly not copyright free. Favonian (talk) 15:55, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:11 paul mccartney.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:11 paul mccartney.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:22, 27 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rodhullandemu 17:22, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you upload a media file with missing copyright status,as you did with File:11 paul mccartney.jpg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Favonian (talk) 22:25, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Paul McCartney. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. The picture in question no longer exists on wikipedia so you are just adding a redline. Please stop MarnetteD | Talk 22:27, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:32, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Slow down please, FAC[edit]

Please slow down and read the WP:FAC instructions. You've nominated a list at FAC, added an old (closed) nomination at FAC, and added two FACs at once. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 08:15, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing: You're also creating multiple FACs to articles you haven't edited, and leaving them untrascluded. You've just had one FAC archived, so you should wait two weeks before nominating any article at FAC, and if you do nominate another article, please review the WP:FAC instructions regarding significant contributions, one nom at a time, and a wait period between archived nominations. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 08:40, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i'm not doing anything

Yes, you're creating a series of FA candidates. Please stop doing this. The Rambling Man (talk) 08:51, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i've done nothing during 1 hour

Yes, but today you have already created three FACs without transcluding them. They are all either deleted or archived now. The Rambling Man (talk) 08:58, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Last warning, stop nominating articles for FAC, like you just did with Eminem. You're wasting a lot of people's time. Please familiarise yourself with WP:WIAFA, and work with other editors, perhaps using peer review to ensure articles are ready to be nominated. Continuing to disrupt the FAC process like this will result in your account being indefinitely blocked. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:36, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:TopSpin4.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:TopSpin4.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:30, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Messi[edit]

He needs a (fully sourced) 'playing style' section. Only then, can we go to WP:FAC. I will fully support this if it does Spiderone 23:20, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're right I nominated and everyone said that it's good article but lacks playing style section. How can we get it? —Taro-Gabunia (talk) 09:35, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Find sources on the internet/books which talk about his playing style.

http://www.soccer-training-info.com/how_to_play_like_messi.asp http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/7561998/Arsene-Wenger-Barcelonas-Lionel-Messi-best-player-in-the-world-as-Arsenal-crash-out.html http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/philminshull/2010/03/is_messi_the_greatest_ever.html

and then incorporate them into the article. See Cesc Fabregas and Thierry Henry for good examples Spiderone 18:57, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not american and don't know enough english to write it. Can't you do it? —Taro-Gabunia (talk) 18:59, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not really, it takes hours and I'm at university now. It took me days to write the original article Spiderone 20:40, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're good at writing and i'm sure you'll find free time for writing one section —Taro-Gabunia (talk) 21:06, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Messi 2524516 (resized).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Messi 2524516 (resized).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:06, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copyrighted images[edit]

Please do not upload copyrighted images, there are numerous links on this page and other talk pages that you participate on to the image use rules, so if you continue to upload images that are inappropriate you may be blocked. Camw (talk) 13:21, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FAC[edit]

Per the FAC instructions: "Nominators who are not significant contributors to the article should consult regular editors of the article prior to a nomination." Please do not nominate articles without contacting the primary author(s). Trebor (talk) 12:30, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FAC for Roger Federer withdrawn[edit]

I appreciate that you are acting in good faith, but it is best if featured articles are nominated by people who have worked closely on them. In this way, they can give reasoned replies to reviewers and be familiar enough with the sources to act on suggested improvements. Someone who has not worked on the article can not provide this input, so the nomination may continue until opposition to it becomes so overwhelming that the article is failed; this takes away time from reviewers. While the Roger Federer article is of reasonable quality, it is not yet of featured quality, and principal contributors must be consulted before a nomination, as required in the featured article candidate instructions. --Andy Walsh (talk) 03:30, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And same goes for "Bohemian Rhapsody". --Andy Walsh (talk) 03:34, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Repeat FAC nominations[edit]

- Taro-Gabunia, you have nominated now at least four FACs that have not followed FAC instructions and have been ill-prepared for FAC; please see the instructions at WP:FA and do not continue to nominate articles at FAC unless you are a primary contributor and have taken them through peer review or perhaps GAN. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:32, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Actually, now that I read back through your talk page and contributions, I see that this has been a long-term problem and you've already been warned about disrupting FAC. I've blocked you indefinitely until you show that you understand how these processes work and agree to stop disrupting them. --Andy Walsh (talk) 03:43, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why am I blocked? I never violated the rules after being warned last two times. Taro (talk) 00:21, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You were warned back in September to stop, and you came back again with two articles without having read the FAC instructions and without any understanding of the FA criteria. You made a comment just yesterday that indicates you can't or won't understand the community's concerns: "I don't see why I should have done it." You're blocked to prevent further disruption and wasting further community time. --Andy Walsh (talk) 00:46, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You've also been warned for edit warring, and for repeatedly uploading copyright images (which continued after your warnings). SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:48, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Finally, I remembered the password. The thing is that I was blocked several months, because I didn't know how to use Wikipedia. Now, I know almost every intricate detail of it, so please unblock me. From contributions of the previous account, you can easily conclude that I really was useful to Wikipedia except for referencing style changing. After reading WP:CITEHOW, I perceived everything

Decline reason:

See the admin comments at User_talk:TGilmour. Unblocking you would just lead to more problems for Wikipedia, due to your history of abusing multiple accounts and the trouble you have caused with the WP:FAC process. Consider waiting six months and applying again, per the terms of WP:OFFER. If you can abstain from socking for that amount of time, a new application might be considered then. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
