You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Wikipedia Reviewer.svg

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:13, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Vanessa Redgrave[edit]

Hi, I noticed your contribution to the filmography of Redgrave. There is a Wikipedia stub for the movie Eva, but, unfortunately, it is mistakenly called Eve. Changing titles of articles is problematic in Wikipedia. I'm not sure if I should move it or what. Substantively, it says almost nothing, nor does it reflect that the movie has come out. What do you think? You can comment here rather than on my Talk page.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:27, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi, good point! I think what I shall do is a 'redirect' of Eve to Eva. The current entry as you say is quite bare. So I'm going to add an infobox and fill it out a bit. Teatreez (talk) 20:30, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

I think you'll have to move Eve to Eva and then do a redirect, no? In any event, I appreciate your working on it. Thanks!--Bbb23 (talk) 20:37, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

No worries! Yes that's it, I think! Teatreez (talk) 20:39, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

You have become a one-person Redgrave machine lately. By the time you're done every movie Redgrave was ever in will have at least a stub article on it. Boy, are you busy! Anyway, one minor note. You might wish to call the subsections in the new movie articles "Plot" rather than "Plot synopsis." "Plot" is more commonly used. Have fun.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:48, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Haha it has sure kept me busy. Ah cheers, I'll fix that. Teatreez (talk) 21:51, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Diana Mitford[edit]

Hi Teatreez, thanks for your edits on Diana Mitford. Do you have some refs we could add for your inclusions? Thanks Spanglej (talk) 00:47, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi, yes some books and links I can think of. I'll add everything sometime tomorrow.

Citations[edit]

Thanks for all of your contributions to Wikipedia. One small matter: citations should follow punctuation. "Like this.<>" not "Like this<>."   Will Beback  talk  06:56, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Filmography formatting[edit]

Hi. I've reverted some of your recent filmography formatting as inappropriate. Please see WP:ACTOR for the current suggested format. There's been a great deal of discussion on these issues and I'll be glad to talk with your about the details if need be. Thanks, Jack Merridew 20:29, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

fyi, I've sorted the sorting and rowspans on a few of them, too. Cheers, Jack Merridew 18:29, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion, guidelines for use at WP:MINOR). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and all users will still be able to manually mark their edits as being minor in the usual way.

For well-established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:03, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Trespass (2010 film) listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Trespass (2010 film). Since you had some involvement with the Trespass (2010 film) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 07:23, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Sven Nykvist. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Bloodwork (film)[edit]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Bloodwork (film), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Phase One (film). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:52, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Twelve Dreams[edit]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Twelve Dreams, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://theater.nytimes.com/mem/theater/treview.html?res=990CEFDA143BF93AA35755C0A963958260.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. File permission problem with File:A Fook Island international passport.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:A Fook Island international passport.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:21, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

File:The Basement movie poster.jpg[edit]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded, was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full 7 days period before the original oversized image will be hidden, during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (maybe an initial crop to allow a smaller or no reduction). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that required an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessary oversize). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content RonBot (talk) 01:06, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
