Dealing with vandals[edit]

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Diane Sugden: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. In addition, when the vandal has run through enough warnings (usually 3) and continues to cause trouble, you may want to check out Administrator intervention against vandalism (aka "WP:AIV"), where you can report consistant vandals. Alf Roberts[edit]

Hello, thought I'd explain to you personally why I reverted your edit rather than on the edit summary. Don't know whether you noticed but I only partially reverted, because some of the information you changed was incorrect. Alf's appearances were very spaced out in the beginning, there's not a chance he could be considered a regular (there was a year-long gap in between his '61 and '62 stint in fact), and he made a couple of appearances in 1967 as well which you took out completely. Formatting the birth date when the death is present is pointless also.

The small (widowed) and others like it after marriages are generally just unnecessary and details such as that should be covered in the main body of the article. An infobox is a navigational piece, not a place for clutter. Hope that answers you questions! Thank you, Ooh, Fruity Ooh, Chatty 14:57, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

November 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Audrey Roberts, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.

Thank you, --GSorbyDesroid - (Contribs!) 15:44, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add, we don't use the birth template here and we don't start new lines in infoboxes. Thanks --GSorbyDesroid - (Contribs!) 15:44, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Category: XXXX introductions[edit]

Hi! I've noticed you adding the introductions by year category to a few articles. For fictional characters, there are corresponding subcategories - for example, Category:2000 fictional characters debuts is a subcategory of the parent Category:2000 introductions. I only recently noticed them myself, so I thought you might appreciate a heads up. Happy editing :) Frickative 20:07, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks buddy, Sorry I didn't know :(, but now you've told me I will bear it in mind cheers –TheBubler2010 (talk) 20:09, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Dweeby123 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. JuneGloom Schmooze 23:20, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
