Murray's early career[edit]

Hi Thetradge,

Seeing you are a fan of Andy Murray, I was thinking maybe if you would be able to detail Andy Murray's early career, which includes:

  • How he survived the Dunblane massacre, and his role in it
  • His first ATP Ranking entry, which was in July 2003
  • His 2004 US Open junior title
  • Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon in 2005, and first final that year
  • First ATP Tour title in 2006, and reaching the fourth round at Wimbledon
  • Early struggles
  • Wimbledon quarter-final in 2008, and first Grand Slam final at the US Open that year
  • Back-to-back Australian Opens in 2010 and 2011

Remember, this is information that should focus on pre-2012.

Let me know about your ideas and thoughts.

Cheers, MasterMind5991 (talk) 08:55, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Statistics update[edit]

Hi.

When updating stats like you did [here] please also update the date of when the update was made or it might be considered diruptive.

Also I would like to inform you that Template:Goal has a parameter for own goals so instead of writing {{goal|45+2}} (O.G) you should instead write {{goal|45+2|o.g.}} which produces the desired output. QED237 (talk) 12:46, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

League table Premier League[edit]

Hi. I will look in to fixing league table immediately. Do you have a source confirming it will go to the sixth placed team?. QED237 (talk) 16:42, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Yes, if you scroll down to "16:17" on the following link, you'll find a citation - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26405892
Thank you. I hope the table is now to your satisfaction. I added a note at the bottom and my idea was to add a source to that note. QED237 (talk) 21:14, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Newcastle United F.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:06, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Pretty sure I referenced the revised edit of the page sufficiently, and even so everything about what I said is 100% true. Perhaps a "citation needed" tag would suffice until I can find a reference that is accepted by your golden standards?

Disambiguation link notification for January 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Great Britain at the Hopman Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jeremy Bates. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of 2016 Davis Cup[edit]

Hello, Thetradge. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, 2016 Davis Cup, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Sulfurboy (talk) 22:00, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

September 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Qed237. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to 2015–16 Premier League because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Qed237 (talk) 02:06, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

Your "vandalism" allegation makes little to no sense, the edit I made had 100% relevance, as a) Sunderland yesterday matched Newcastle's run of 3 consecutive defeats, b) Stoke won their first match whereas Newcastle and Sunderland did not, meaning the latter two maintained a winless run, and c) I completely forgot about Aston Villa's ongoing losing run, now if leaving out one tiny detail accidentally constitutes vandalism, you need to sort out your priorities.
First of al, sorry for putting two warnings, I missed I had warned for same edit last night. Secondly how could you miss ALL of the hidden comments? It clearly says that when updating infobox, everything should be updated including timestamp. Now you introduced factual errors as infobox stated "as of 20 September" and those streaks was not correct at that date. Qed237 (talk) 12:01, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
Well that's fair enough then, my bad.

Infobox dates[edit]

Hi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |pcupdate= or |club-update= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 23:38, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
