Developer Liaison to the Wikimedia Foundation board (answer)
- The answer to this is very out of date. Tim resigned almost a year ago. JeLuF was offered the position but turned it down. When Brion was appointed CTO, there seemed little more use for the Developer Liaison role, so Tim was never replaced. Angela. 23:36, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, that appears to have been me misreading either the Wikimedia Foundation article or Tim's user page when I writing the quiz (in a hurry, when my boss wasn't looking!). Thryduulf 00:05, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Using Wikipedia as a source would explain it. ;) Angela.
- "Later, other official positions were developed: Tim Starling was appointed Developer Liaison to help improve the organisation of the development of the MediaWiki software" (from Wikimedia Foundation). It doesn't actually say anywhere in the article that he resigned, although it does metion that Erik resigned (probably because it needs to mention James). Thryduulf 10:29, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
