Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Farthing (British coin) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • of less than a shilling were simply written in terms of pennies, e.g. eight pennies would be 8d, (pronounced "eightpence." A price with a farthing in it would be written like this: (19/11¼),

January 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm AusLondonder. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Emily Thornberry, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Per WP:BLPSOURCES, the Daily Mail newspaper is not regarded as a reliable source. AusLondonder (talk) 16:27, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, no worries. I'm not personally a fan of the DM, but their wording has not been refuted by the lady herself. If the report was inaccurate or untrue I'd be surprised if she'd stand for having her good name sullied, besides as a lawyer she'd be able to draw up the papers in a trice - and at no cost to herself. I'll use BFBS as the main source & add the relevant later commentary. Tiredcleangate3 (talk) 23:36, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
