This is still going on? Good Lord! The guy who wrote this article needs to either come up with some sources (which I doubt) or just let it go. IrishGuy 21:04, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
I apologise for having inadvertently deleted the tag on the now deceased Jimbo Wales article. However I don't appreciate being lectured like a child for a mistake that anyone who doesn't have an encyclopaedic knowledge of wikipedia's esoteric language could make. The page was deleted in the end so good work. And fix the bot. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 126.96.36.199 (talk • contribs).
Just couldn't let it go could you? I apologised for the error and made an observation about your commentary and relative difficulty of wikipedia to new users. May I say again, the article was deleted within minutes anyway. This kind of smug superiority is what turns many users off the whole project. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 188.8.131.52 (talk • contribs).
Thanks for your advice. As you probably guessed from my note, I wasn't sure if the article constituted vandalism as such but was pretty sure it shouldn't be there. I'm still fairly new to this. Thanks again. BTLizard 13:54, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Немецкий крестовый монах
Hi! Thanks for your comment. You're right, it's Russian. I am translating the article into English. I am a newcomer here, so I appreciate any help. Regards,
Sorry for not signing - I just didn't know how to do it. Could you explain me one more thing - its about moving pages. In my case it's replacing the Russian title with an English one. Shall I just place a request for moving or I can do it by myself? I have already tried to do it, but it was written that my profile is too new to be able to move pages. So, how long shall I wait for that? Thanks in advance for your help. Mikelina 13:42, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Image in your signature
I don't know if you're aware but the guidelines governing signatures have been modified recently:
Images of any kind should not be used in signatures
I happened to notice that your signature currently contains an image (actually because the image you chose has been replaced by a more efficient version rather than because you were causing any problem, you will be happy to note) and I would like to suggest that you consider removing it to conform to the new guidelines. Thanks in advance. —Phil | Talk 10:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
