License tagging for Image:Bikes.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bikes.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:05, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging for Image:Newswabenland1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Newswabenland1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Please do not remove administrative tags on your own articles[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. -- Butseriouslyfolks 05:14, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright Info[edit]

The license has to be broader than what you have indicated at Talk:John Tuson Bennett (Australian lawyer) to use copyrighted text on Wikipedia. Please review this page. Thank you. -- Butseriouslyfolks 05:52, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright status of Joel Stuart Hayward[edit]

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Joel Stuart Hayward. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://www.williscarto.com/hayward.html in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Joel Stuart Hayward with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Joel Stuart Hayward with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Joel Stuart Hayward saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Iknowyourider (t c) 06:42, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I see you're trying to improve the state of this article, good on you. I might just draw your attention to the external link policy, in particular "What not to link to" number 9, the results of search engines. I noticed you added one as an external link so I thought I'd let you know why it's highly likely to be deleted. All the best, The Rambling Man 08:11, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Looking at this talk page and its history, it seems that you have done little but cause problems since you arrived - something which the username will flag as highly likely to anyone who's been here more than a few days. I have blocked you due mainly to the problems with Joel Stuart Hayward (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), which is a blatant fork of Joel Hayward (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) apparently designed to evade deletion policy and the policy on living individuals. Thanks for your time, but we do not need crusaders-for-truth doing stuff like that. Guy (Help!) 11:27, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This seems overly harsh and I believe you have misunderstood my actions. Firstly I'm new to Wiki so the previous problems with lack of citations, etc was rookie stuff. Secondly and more seriously your accusation I copied the Joel Stuart Hayward entry to evade deletion policy is absolutely wrong. I intially created the Joel Stuart Hayward entry however I did not make the subsquent Joel Hayward entry as you can see from the history so your action is unwarranted.

Decline reason:

I find Guy's summary to be quite accurate. After the first warning you should have gotten it. — SWATJester Denny Crane. 02:51, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is a gross overreaction, please provide me with proof I created that second entry as this block appears to rest entirely on this accusation. JzG assumes this was done for purely malicous reasons but gives absolutely no evidence.

Decline reason:

i've reviewed the situation and I've declined the unblock request. JzG never said you created Joel Hayward, just that you forked it into Joel Stuart Hayward which is clear by the edit histories ^demon[omg plz] 15:45, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Polish Historical Society (United States). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Polish Historical Society (United States). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
