License tagging for Image:Ashok Jhunjhunwala.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ashok Jhunjhunwala.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:07, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Your baseless accusations at Talk:Vikram Sampath[edit]

Re this edit. TrangaBellam is not an admin, and I don't know why you assume they are. Any user can post those alerts, which are for awareness only. Nor have they vandalised your talkpage. Nor are the alerts TrangaB gave you "warnings" (but this post from me is). Please don't throw around accusations of vandalism so lightly, but first make sure you know what you're talking about. Baseless accusations of vandalism are considered personal attacks and, if repeated, are grounds for a block. Note that Wikipedia:No personal attacks is policy, as is Wikipedia:Civility. I wasn't aware that someone showing up with "notices" on your personal page was acceptable behaviour, that too for a fact based edit where the disagreement was on level of detail. I wonder whether you or any other wikipedia participants would appreciate someone pasting such "notices" on your personal talk page. Irrespective of that, Wikipedia has attracted a lot of biased and aggressive editors for my liking who make an echo-chamber of self-reference (if they are indeed separate individuals) and induce bias easily noticed by a neutral observer. I wish administrators did a better job. Sigh.
Please sign your posts. What did you think your talkpage was for, if not for other editors "showing up" on it? That's why it's called "talk", as opposed to your userpage, which normally nobody but yourself would edit. Bishonen | tålk 21:52, 6 March 2022 (UTC).[reply]
