THE TRIO[edit]

How do you explain this, then? Lee Patrick (saxophonist) Badagnani 16:06, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The information there is also incorrect. I saw the Trio perform live, own their LP, and I have know both Lee Patrick, Patrick Meighan, and John Moore for 30 years. Peter Hodson was the alto player in the Trio. Tsaxman28 18:03, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But I attended several performances by THE TRIO in Louisville in the 1980s and 1990s, and I distinctly recall the musicians were Meighan, Moore, and Patrick. Are you certain that the personnel of the group did not change at one point? If not, the proper conduct would be to post a question on the talk pages of the articles concerned, not to simply remove the text. —SaxTeacher (talk) 16:40, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I checked with Lee Patrick about this and he replied,
During the years of its existence, THE TRIO went through a number of alto players. Pete Hodson was the initial alto player. After him came one who never made it out onto the track. Then there was Rick Morgan. Lastly there was Pat Meighan.
