Hello? Figure8states (talk) 01:29, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

Hey #FreeBassel group...I have some information that I would like to see represented by the esteemed Wikipedia. I'm a complete wiki newbie and haven't checked sources exhaustively...but was hoping to just get the topics "Nassim Haramein" and "Resonance Project Foundation" opened up in wikiland, and then the articles could be filled in over time by the growing community. :)

I used to be figure8state on Wikipedia, but I just noticed my user page now shows I am permanently blocked for "peristent abuse" or some bs to that effect. You can see my "abuse" in all it's glory at the user page for figure8state (im a little proud haha..good for the posterity). The conversation thread reflected there now on my old user page is different than the original and has been edited by Wikipedia, presumably after I was blocked from access...re-writing history, thats not good. No matter, let's try again.

It also appears that creating articles for "Nassim Haramein" has been blocked, along with "The Resonance Project", but you may have the keys to unlock.

I hope you can help me to get this important information represented in Wikipedia for the betterment of all. Any help you can lend is much appreciated. Power to the people  :)

Here's some of the material I was consolidating

Nassim Haramein

Quotes

Remarking on the idea that there's not enough energy for everybody..."we gotta fight for it...we gotta war...I need that energy...meanwhile every single atom in the universe is extracting it directly from the vacuum...using spin...this is a possibility for humanity right here...to start to understand how to extract energy directly out of the source of energy that produces all of the universe" [8]

Nassim Haramein is a physicist and anthropoligist born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1962[1]. Haramein has researched and lectured internationally[6] on the subjects of Unified Field Theory, Quantum Gravity, and how many ancient religous symbols in different cultures all over the world are appearing in these new areas of science, and what those relationships might mean. Nassim has been offering new interpretations of human history, symbology, and religous and cultural ideas since (earliest source so far??) 2003 [2] which challenge the pillars of the status-quo science establishment.[3] "As early as 9 years old, Nassim was already developing the basis for a unified hyperdimensional theory of matter and energy, which he eventually called the “Holofractographic Universe.”"[5] On the initial lukewarm reception of his paper "The Schwarzschild Proton" by the the science establishment Haramein remarked "I have to dodge a lot of tomatoes and rotten eggs"[6] The Swarzchild Proton paper was invited to a conference at UNiviersity of ???, and to Haramein's surprise and appreciation it received "Best Paper Award". Nassim Haramein contributed a section called "To Infinity and Beyond: The Holographic Nature of Mass" to Graham Hancocks 2015 book The Devine Spark.[9]

Nassim has published several papers on his theories, and two recent papers, both reviewed by professional physicists, break new ground in our understanding of physics.

Hi, I hope you will be joining us tomorrow afternoon at the Edit-a-thon at Tech Liminal, in Oakland. We'll be working on articles relating to women and democracy (and anything else that interests you). It's sponsored by the California League of Women Voters, Tech Liminal, and me.

If this is the first you are hearing of this event, my apologies for the last-minute notice! I announced it on the San Francisco email list and by a banner on your watchlist, but I neglected to look at the San Francisco invitation list until this evening. Greetings from WikiProject Open Access[edit]

Dear Timothy,

it is now one year since WikiProject Open Access was started by User:Bluerasberry on January 10, 2012. Since then, the project has advanced modestly, but we have not interacted much in that framework (thanks for the retweets, though). For the coming year, we certainly want to improve on that.

We also plan to overhaul the project pages to make them more conducive to collaboration, and we are pondering the idea of expanding the concept of a WikiProject Open Access to projects other than the English Wikipedia, e.g. to other languages or to Wikimedia Commons. You are warmly invited to add your voice to all that. We would also appreciate if you would share some of your OA-related activities by way of our news ticker or via the monthly Open Access report that is part of the GLAM newsletter (to which you can subscribe here), or as you see fit otherwise.

As a visual token of the anniversary, I am adding today's Open Access File of the Day. Feel free to nominate files yourself. As of today, commons:Category:Open access (publishing) contains more than 15,000 files, of which about 2/3 are video and sound files uploaded by the Open Access Media Importer.

Thanks for being part of the project, and looking forward to more interaction. With a smile, -- Daniel Mietchen - WiR/OS (talk) 23:55, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Template talk:Non-free review[edit]

An RfC about the use of the {{fairusereview}} tag on mainspace pages is in progress here. From 2005 until recently, this template was added to file pages when the non-free status of the file was being discussed. In May this year it was edited so that it could be added to articles. The RfC question is: "Should the template be reverted to the pre-May 2013 version, and retained only for use on file pages?"

Since you are a registered member of the Fair Use WikiProject, you might have an interest in this discussion.Tom Reedy (talk) 04:46, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

8 March San Francisco International Womens Day edit-a-thon.jpg

Dear fellow Wikipedian,

In celebration of WikiWomen's History Month, the SF Bay Area Wikipedia community has two events in early March -- please consider attending!

First, we have an ArtAndFeminism edit-a-thon, which will take place at the Kadist Art Foundation from 12 noon to 6pm on Saturday, March 7. We'll be one of many sites worldwide participating in this edit-a-thon on March 7th. So join us as we help improve Wikipedia's coverage of women artists and their works!

Second, we will be celebrating International Women's Day with the International Women's Day edit-a-thon on Sunday, March 8 from 1pm to 5pm at the Wikimedia Foundation. Our editing focus will be on women, of course!

I hope to see you there! Rosiestep (talk) - via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:06, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
