I've moderated my comment to redact your username at WT:MOS, which I originally posted in response to JerryFriedman challenging me on my observation that you and your project have been engaging drama. It is all true and not entirely incivil, just critical, from my point of view:

KimvdLinde was certainly engaging in drama for its own sake; see above for links demonstrating that any time she doesn't get her way she engages in a fit of public psychodramatics, and histrionically "quits Wikipedia" for a few days or a month or whatever, with various of flaming insults on the way out. I'd be half surprised if she wasn't the direct inspiration of the page at WP:DIVA, since it describes her behavior with exacting accuracy. See also the "we should go on an editing strike!" WP:POINTy pulpit pounding at WT:WikiProject Birds#strike. Would you like more examples? Civlility does not require pretense that negative behaviors aren't happening. Civility != lovey-dovey mollycoddling.

It's not fair for me to claim I'm being attacked personally at WT:BIRDS if I'm singling you out by name at WT:MOS (though the circumstances are different; I was simply made the pillory subject of a new thread there, out of the blue, which despite being "retired" you couldn't resist joining in; at WT:MOS, I was responding to one of your own project members' insistence that I'm wrong, and I presented your observable behavior as evidence). You also publicly stated (and your userpage still states) that you've retired as an editor, so initially posting it to your talk page would not have seemed to have served any purpose. But you actually are still active, so here you go.

I'll repeat what I said on my own talk page in response to your request to "please refractor your attacks on me at the WP:MOS page":

Absolutely not. I stand by every word of it. You are one of the most personally poisonous, disruptive, psychodramatic and tendentious people I have ever encountered since the worst flamewars of the early-'90s Usenet. You do your utmost to derail any debate you can't win, grossly abused the dispute resolution process for WP:POINTmaking, and have engaged in a campaign of personally motivated and hate-filled character assassination. WP:SPADE, and I'm sticking to it.

Bird names guidance text[edit]

If you're still around part-time, I'm curious what you think of Wikipedia:WikiProject Birds/naming sandbox. — SMcCandlish   Talk⇒ ɖ∘¿¤þ   Contrib. 12:54, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
