June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Nanjil nadar has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://74.125.153.132/search?q=cache:9hj2o_ss9sqj:tulu-research.blogspot.com/2008/01/65-maikala-for-mangalore.html s&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=in). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 17:54, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Welcome[edit]

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Caste system in Kerala, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Arjun024 12:10, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Caste system in Kerala[edit]

Hi. Could you please discuss your proposed additions on the talk page and see if there is a consensus to include them (along with appropriate sourcing). Repeatedly re-adding the same unsourced content is liable to get you blocked for edit warring. Regards. --RegentsPark (talk) 21:43, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

July 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Malayala Kshatriya, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 10:12, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

November 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Keralolpathi, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Your additions are in fact not only unsourced but also rather eccentric in their viewpoint. Please do not keep adding this material without some sort of reliable source to support it. Sitush (talk) 12:28, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Padmanabhaswamy Temple, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gandaki (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Travancore royal family[edit]

Thanks for adding more information to Travancore royal family, however visual editor messed your edits up by adding nowiki tags (a know bug). I have attempted to fix it but there are still some problems that you could maybe try to fix if you have a chance. The huge amount of text you added to the lead doesn't look great and is hard to read, it needs separated into paragraphs and some of it maybe moved to anther section. I'm assuming the text in square brackets in that bit are meant to be references, these need to be properly formatted. Help:Footnotes shows how references should be formatted if you aren't sure. If you need any help let me know. Sarahj2107 (talk) 13:52, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

October 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Malayalam may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. February 2016[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Banas northern Cousins of Villavar, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. utcursch | talk 19:37, 27 February 2016 (UTC)

The reference cited by you (The Kadamba Kula) does not support the content at all. I also had a look at your earlier edits - most of them constitute original research and misrepresentation of references, bordering on hoax. You have already been given several notices about verifiability above -- if you continue to add unsourced / falsely sourced content, you will be blocked. utcursch | talk 19:41, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
