"promotional content and inappropriate external links" tag[edit]

Hello Voidvector! You tagged the "University Alliance of the Silk Road" page for "promotional content and inappropriate external links," but I at a loss to identify either of these. The article has no external links, and is mostly comprised of quotes from articles. Could you either point out objectionable content on the talk page, or remove the tag? Many thanks! xjtu2015 —Preceding undated comment added 19:44, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

It's verbiage sounds like advertisement / promotional material. Words like "aim", "foster", "promote", "designed", "leading" are used in a way that makes the article sound biased in favor of the topic. Most of those sentences could be easily rewritten to sound less so. For example, "The UASR aims to support training..." can be written as "Part of UASR's objective is to provide training...". The writing should put some distance between the voice of article and function of UASR. --Voidvector (talk) 04:00, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
