Need help with Iron Chef episode guide editing
[edit]Do you know how to edit a short summary underneath each episode? I want to put the judges underneath, rather than have them take up so much space in a new column. Thank you. Loyalist2024 (talk) 03:18, 30 October 2025 (UTC)

- Here: List of Iron Chef episodes
- What I want to do is, rather than having a column of judges taking up so much space, I wonder if I can add a short summary underneath each entry. I don't know how to. The page keeps glitching with every attempt. Loyalist2024 (talk) 03:40, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- A short summary of what? voorts (talk/contributions) 16:01, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

- Top is what it currently looks like. Bottom is what I want it to look like. Loyalist2024 (talk) 18:37, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- The point of the table is to keep all of the information together and sortable. Creating separate tables for each episodes just so you can put the judges underneath would not be useful for sorting the information. Please see MOS:TABLES. voorts (talk/contributions) 18:39, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

Closure of discussion notification
[edit]Greetings, I'm not sure if you noticed, but the prompt at the discussion page that I was pointing people to specifically says This is not an OCRP
. I've already decided that I'm going to apply/run, either via RFA or via Election (haven't decided which). What I'm looking for is feedback/comments on the content of the draft submission/application that I've written. My understanding was that the use of the Please See template at centralized locations is the preferred way to solicit general feedback without running afoul of canvassing, but I could be mistaken on that (and if so, could you please point me to the proper procedure?) Thanks. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 18:16, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- OCRP would be the place to ask editors to weigh in on your draft, in my opinion. It's not an issue for administrators (which is what AN is for), nor is it for discussion of a community-wide issue (which is what VPM is for). There's no issue with canvassing. You're allowed to ask editors to review your RFA statement/questions privately, which is what I'd recommend. In particular, I would speak with admins who have experience nominating people for RFA. voorts (talk/contributions) 18:23, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

FYI I've reapplied the indef block to Baangla
[edit]After two weeks of mentoring, I felt I'd left the mentor User:LordCollaboration in an exhausting spot, and so I re-blocked the mentee. In my mind Baangla edited like a teenager with modest English-language skills. Thanks for your helpful close at ANI. Unfortunately, not all mentorships work out. The wiki-win here is that LordC is an adult with a fine head on their shoulders, and we'll enjoy spending time reinforcing his position... BusterD (talk) 11:30, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
