You've made number of well-considered improvements to American Civil War articles. Well done. You might choose to investigate and join Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history, which has its own ACW Task force. In any case, I'm glad to see another steady contributor. Cary Kennedy[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Cary Kennedy, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.kennedyfortreasurer.com/biography.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:23, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Mike Coffman[edit]

I noticed that you removed Mike Coffman from Category:State treasurers of the United States based upon the fact that he is no longer State Treasurer. The inclusion criteria for that category and its subcategories includes both current and former U.S. State Treasurers. In this case, I have created Category:State treasurers of Colorado as a subcategory thereof, and added the articles on Coffman, Cary Kennedy, Mark Hillman, and Bill Owens to the category. Please feel free to add any other articles you have edited or created on former Colorado State Treasurers to the category. --TommyBoy (talk) 05:14, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Colorado[edit]

The year 2011 has brought many changes to the State of Colorado. We have a new Governor and other state officers, two new U.S. Representatives, many new state legislators, and a new Mayor of Denver. WikiProject Colorado is updating many Colorado articles. Many Colorado places, people, and organizations need new articles. Portal:Colorado needs new featured articles.

Can you help us? Please see our list of some requested articles. If you wish, you may join WikiProject Colorado at Wikipedia:WikiProject Colorado/Members. If you have any questions, please leave me a message at User talk:Buaidh or e-mail me at Special:EmailUser/Buaidh. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Don't forget the Wikipedia 10th Anniversary event in Boulder tomorrow. Yours aye,  Buaidh  23:17, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Charles A. Cook[edit]

On February 16, 2009, you added a find a grave link to the Charles A. Cook article. I have removed it because it does not link to a current entry. If you simply made a mistake, please fix it. Otherwise, please explain your addition of an incorrect link.--Auric talk 01:23, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can ask another question on your talk page, contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse.

In an article's talk tab, what process or guideline is followed for nominating, designating, or tagging the article for inclusion into a particular Wikiproject subject? (Such as within the scope of the Wikiproject United States or the military history Wikiproject.) Is the inclusion of a particular article into a Wikiproject the responsibility of the article's creator or someone else? Do I have to join a Wikiproject area to place the article with that project subject? W Webb Research (talk) 06:42, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Article categories can guide you in wikiproject inclusion (there are more categories than WikiProjects). Anyone can add an article to a wikiproject, using a template of these, or add a category to it. Gryllida 09:41, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
