Thank you so much for your contributions to this page. I can't seem to find links to any of her work. Are you aware of any places to buy or online concordances?
Thanks again :)

Martin Leach[edit]
Hello,
This is my first time doing this so apologies if I break the protocol. I have submitted for your consideration an expansion of Martin Leach stub article. It would be great to know what you think of it, I have kept the existing info but complemented it with new content when available, including current info.
All the best, Ivan Mato (talk) 10:30, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

Please help me in getting rid of the issues with the page Dinesh Vaghela

Your edits on Rasmea Odeh[edit]
Twice you have inserted false information into this article, here [1] you added "American criminal", and here [2] you added "American terrorist". Odeh has no criminal convictions in America. Please stop adding inaccurate content to a blp article. Tiptoethrutheminefield (talk) 15:37, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Shad Al-Sherif Pasha article[edit]
The article Shad Al-Sherif Pasha, which you have contributed to, is being considered for deletion in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. Some reasons that make the article unsuitable are on its Talk page. See, and if desired contribute to, deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shad Al-Sherif Pasha. Recent edit to Karl Gorath[edit]
Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. While the content of your edit may be true, I have removed it because its depth or nature of detail are not consistent with our objectives as an encyclopedia. I recognize that your edit was made in good faith and hope you will familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is not so we may collaborate in the future. Thank you! Carmine Miranda[edit]
Hie, I am writing to ask for your input about your opinion of this page Carmine Miranda. I am writing to you since you were one of the few who added contributions to it. At present moment it has been nominated for deletion. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carmine Miranda I am hoping that if you have time, that you could take a look at its current state and chime in your opinion on whether it should be kept or not. After you finish clearing out the Persondata short description backlog...[edit]
You had a lot of dedication to stub sorting, then persondata; that backlog's now almost complete, so what will you work on next? -Fimatic (talk | contribs) 23:12, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Well keeping it empty will be a task but I have a few other tasks i would like to do. There are still a large number of Paralympic and Olympic sportspeople without an article and I would like to add those. I am currently trying to learn Dutch so translating articles from Dutch into English would assist that and there are certainly a number of articles that could do with translating. There are also many other backlogs to clear that could make a good task. I reckon I have till Christmas before we get this empty so I still have about 5 weeks to decide. Dating Timeline Correction of Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter[edit]
Just want to relay that Cumberbatch and Hunter have been seeing each other since late 2013 contrary to "early 2014" which the Daily Mail and other rags are reporting and is currently indicated in his personal life section.
-
- It's indicated in his profile for Elle UK here: http://www.elleuk.com/wedding/benedict-cumberbatch-engaged-sophie-hunter-november-2014-confirmed
-
- It's also indicated in his latest profile for People magazine. Scans of print interview are here as there are no digital copy available: http://cumberbum.tumblr.com/post/103576341571/69shadesofyou-okay-i-did-some-scans-at-work
NOTE: I know the Daily Mail is not reliable source that's the very reason why the info should be amended because that "until early 2014" was actually information from them. The scans are from People magazine where it says they got together late last year and have been together for a year now before getting engaged. He was even featured on the cover in this week's issue: http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2014/news/141208/cosby-cover-768.jpg. One can always reference a print article here and in this case scans of the interview are available to prove it. That's already two non-tabloid publications referencing the "late 2013" timeline.
Thank you for improving both Hunter's and Cumberbatch's profiles! 31.223.159.213 (talk) 22:35, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
- Here's a clearer iPad version. If the timeline is confusing it's safe to just indicate that they got engaged after a year of dating like indicated: http://38.media.tumblr.com/3baaf9e7fc0b0fab74807254f444a343/tumblr_nfmwiszdhL1ql37t2o5_1280.jpg 86.62.237.202 (talk) 08:42, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
Persondata typos[edit]
You may want to review the spelling a bit more carefully when filling in the Persondata fields e.g. [3] and [4]. And this one was particularly indecipherable. Dl2000 (talk) 03:16, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Uwe Mehlmann, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Goodman. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

About your (non)participation in the January 2012 SOPA vote[edit]
Hi. I am Piotr Konieczny (User:Piotrus), you may know me as an active content creator (see my userpage), but I am also a professional researcher of Wikipedia. Recently I published a paper (downloadable here) on reasons editors participated in Wikipedia's biggest vote to date (January 2012 WP:SOPA). I am now developing a supplementary paper, which analyzes why many editors did not take part in that vote. Which is where you come in :) You are a highly active Wikipedian (2nd most active, in fact!), and you were active back during the January 2012 discussion/voting for the SOPA, yet you did not chose to participate in said vote. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me why was that so? For your convenience, I prepared a short survey at meta, which should not take more than a minute of your time. I would dearly appreciate you taking this minute; not only as a Wikipedia researcher but as a fellow content creator and concerned member of the community (I believe your answers may help us eventually improve our policies and thus, the project's governance). PS. If you chose to reply here (on your userpage), please WP:ECHO me. Thank you! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 14:22, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Presentation proposal for Wikimania 2015[edit]
| How to pick up more women... | |
| Hi Waacstats! Victuallers and I have developed a proposal for a talk to be presented at Wikimania 2015. It's titled, How to pick up more women... -- as in more women editors and more women's biographies. Examples include the Edit-a-thon blitz during WikiWomen's History Month and the "new articles" work underway by WikiProject Women Writers. The Wikimania talk proposal review process has begun and there's no guarantee that our proposal will be accepted. That's where you come in. Please review it and, if you wish, give us feedback on the submission's talkpage or my talkpage (vs. your talkpage). Ultimately, we hope you add your name to the signup at the bottom of the proposal which signifies you'd be interested in the talk if you were attending it (it does not commit you to attending Wikimania). Adding Persondata Short Descriptions using AWB[edit]
Hello, Waacstats. I was intrigued by this edit which you describe as "add persondata short description using AWB". I've been getting AWB to do all kinds of changes to pages, but would be interested to know how you get it to create and insert the short description text. To be more specific, I could make AWB insert a description, but I'm really puzzled as to how you got AWB to construct the string "American baseball executive" from the contents of that page. I'd love to add this functionality to my AWB module code. Looking forward to your reply. — Hebrides (talk) 22:15, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Unfortunatly I am no great coder and just use AWB to open pages one after the other and insert American into the short description page, I then modify this as needed. Waacstats (talk) 07:25, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi, in this edit you used AWB to insert both "American" and "British" at the same time, for a British person. It has since been corrected, but you may wish to check your other AWB-assisted edits. – Fayenatic London 09:23, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 25[edit]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjærg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Danish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Asa Danforth line 45[edit]
I did not feel that this displayed a neutral point of view: "Discouraged by seven dreary months in this place doing the whole of housekeeping and having no one but the Indian squaws as female companions for the wife to spend her days with, in December 1788, the Danforth's decided to visit their old home in Brookline, Massachusetts." Even if you don't think this, it seems like you are subscribing to the view that "Indian squaws" (not a term that is used these days) are worthless to talk to. Cfalz (talk) 19:06, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon[edit]
Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most geography, wildlife and women articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African athletes, Olympians and Paralympians, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:47, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity[edit]
Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
