Re. Speedy deletion nomination of Dirk von Zitzewitz[edit]

Hi Wakowako

I have no objection to the page been deleted if it's not deemed important enough to be included. The reason for me adding the page was actually because whilst following the Dakar Rally I noticed that although featuring on the Dakar Rally Wikipedia page - he was part on the 2009 winning team and runner up in 2011 and 2012 - there was no information about who he was or what his credentials were. Hence I created the wiki page :-) Is this a good enough reason? — Preceding unsigned comment added by UndercoverMunky (talkcontribs) 12:31, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

It has already been saved from deletion. The reason i tagged this for speedy deletion was the notability issue. For now, a resource has already been added, and i think we can find more resources about him. Thank you. --Wakowako (talk) 07:31, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

Girichaitanya[edit]

Hello. Kindly look into the revisions in the article Chaitanya Giri. I have cited a couple of references in the article´s text that include the name Chaitanya Giri. I hope the article now meets your suggested norms. (talk) Chaitanya Giri 13:50, 19 December 2012 (CET)

G4 speedy deletions[edit]

Hi. Thanks for patrolling new pages - an essential task without which Wikipedia would soon become unusable!. Re Shoaib Ali Khan just now - WP:CSD#G4 is only for use where an article has previously been deleted by a deletion discussion such as WP:AFD. If it has been speedied before, and the same reasons apply, just use the same speedy - in this case WP:CSD#A7. I have blocked this user as an obvious sockpuppet of Khanshoaib2000 (talk · contribs), blocked earlier for repeatedly posting this article. Some people don't get the message easily! Regards, JohnCD (talk) 12:35, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for the hint. --Wakowako (talk) 07:18, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Re: Speedy deletion nomination of Bachata (beer)[edit]

Hi Wakowako,

Whilst I understand that Wikipedia is not a site for promoting brands or companies, I cannot see where in the Bachata page the beer is being promoted. We have tried to keep this page as factual as possible. If you have any ideas as to how the page could be created without breaking Wikipedia's guidelines they would be much appreciated.

Best regards,

  • Hello Flagshipbrands, please see WP:SOAP for your guidelines to avoid advert tags for your articles. Thank you. --Wakowako (talk) 12:28, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

I have unreviewed a page you curated[edit]

Hi, I'm YuMaNuMa. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Prashant - Passy Pilley, and have un-reviewed it again. If you've got any questions, please ask me on my talk page. Thanks, YuMaNuMa

  • Hello, No problem. It was just unintentional for me that it has been marked as reviewed since if you tag a new page using page curator, it will be automatically marked as reviewed. Thank you.--Wakowako (talk) 06:35, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

Nominating for second AfD[edit]

Hiya! I saw that you tried to nominate Vineet Saini for deletion. In this particular case it looks like someone has nominated it for a speedy deletion per G4, which is for pages that have been re-added after a deletion discussion. Unless the current copy is different from the previously deleted version, this should take care of it. If not, we can always re-nominate it. In those cases what we use is Template:Subst afdx rather than Template:Subst afd1, as the afd1 template will only bring up the previous deletion discussion. (I've edited these so it won't mess with the page much.) I've removed your remarks on that entry, as we aren't supposed to add onto these AfD entries after they've been closed. Anywho, that's pretty much it. Hopefully it'll be removed by an admin soon! Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:30, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

  • Hi Tokyogirl, thanks for the hint!. --Wakowako (talk) 07:34, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. AfC[edit]

Hi. We appreciate your enthusiasm but 83 mainspace edits in the last 4 years out of a total of only 800 since 2012 does not demonstrate a good understanding of the policies mentioned in the reviewing instructions or provide an indication that you intend to return to regular editing. Please make three months of significant consistent contributions, then you will be prepared for reviewing drafts. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:40, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
